This is a great place to sit at one of the cafes.....which have seating on the sand near the sea. Just sit and sip a refreshing drink ( reasonable prices) and watch the sunset. Also has a nice promenade to walk and interact with locals, who bring their own chairs and sit in the grassy area. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and ice cream places. This place is near the bus/metro station, so it is ideal for those who dont have a car. I stumbled onto this place since nobody had mentioned this beach to me. Im glad I spent a couple hours of here.

I can't understand why TripAdvisor has this ranked where it is. It's clearly the best part of Haifa after the beautiful and unique Bahai Gardens. While the beach sand area is smaller, they've done a great job of building infrastructure (promenade, shade, grassy areas) for people who want to enjoy the scenery and not just tan.

There are plenty of restaurants along the promenade, though none are that amazing. They do offer cold beer and decent snack foods, though I only order pita/hummus or babaganoush, not full meals when I visit.

There are a lot of people from all walks of life. Young teens, old senior citizens, couples with families and everything in between. Parking is also free and the bathrooms are very clean for public beach restrooms.

I love the Haifa beaches, so much more low-key and not tourist-filled as in Tel Aviv. I have always found them to be quite clean. The promenade is nice, plenty of cafes and ice cream shops. We hang out on the northern part, a small beach with sun cover and a good snack shack. You can watch the boats in the distance come and go from Haifa Port.

Went for a quiet walk today on the beach in Haifa. Quiet....I thought! There were more people on the beach then on shabbat. People were looking for an open place with lot's of fresh air and that you can get on the beach usually. But my walk was still better then being inside all day. I think I'll go again tomorrow. By the way bring your own drinks and food since restaurants are closed. Public toilets are open but not very clean. Enjoy the Med in Haifa.

We came to Dado Beach as Bat Galim was full and no parking the advantage here is the availability of parking.
Is a long beach with many towers with life-guards that create areas of bathing marked by red-flags where you are allowed to bathe. They are constantly shouting orders to the bathers....instead of letting people some freedom.

They closed before 7pm, so you were not allowed to enter the water....and the tower a 100 mts away still allowed....
it was very crowded with families, understandable on a Saturday afternoon.

Water was nice and clean....the little I managed to enjoy.....

this is definitely the best beach you will ever visit.
you have everything there - beach, sand, grass, good food, good mood, free parking, train station, fresh juice, small pool for the small kids, excellent running tracks - both "built" and on the sand, good simming courses.
the best beach, trust me :)

It has a really nice promenade, lots of restaurants right by the sea, and a sandy beach.
There is also an option to sit on the grass, real close to the beach so if you are traveling with a baby that might be comfortable.
Also there are big shade thatch umbrellas on the beach (on the sand, not on the grass part) but they usually get occupied real fast.

Sit on the white sandy beach or on the manicured green grass or bring your beach chairs....water are warm and waves are not too high - depending on the flag color for the day....we visited on a red flag day and it was still ok. you have a few stores and cafes open, bars for shakes or beer, what ever you fancy you will find there....fresh fruit juices and shakes go well with all the trying to keep in shape trend.....many use the 4 kilometer boardwalk along the beach for exercise, jogging, walking, etc.

Nice beach with good parking and lots of little restaurants and coffee shops. The life guards were not as noisy as on other beaches in Haifa, and the changing rooms were cleaner.
