Unforgettable Tour to Caesarea, Haifa, Acre and Rosh HaNikra from Tel Aviv

35 reviews
See a different side of Israel, from crusader fortresses to Baha’i shrines, from Roman architecture to marine caverns, on this door-to-door guided tour of the nation's northern coast. Start at the Roman ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great; progress to Haifa, where the sacred gardens of the Baha’i faith tumble down terraces; enter the watery wonderland of the Rosh Hanikra grottos; and discover the rich history of Acre.

Went for a quiet walk today on the beach in Haifa. Quiet....I thought! There were more people on the beach then on shabbat. People were looking for an open place with lot's of fresh air and that you can get on the beach usually. But my walk was still better then being inside all day. I think I'll go again tomorrow. By the way bring your own drinks and food since restaurants are closed. Public toilets are open but not very clean. Enjoy the Med in Haifa.

Great beach! Gigantic amounts of sand, free parking, showers, toiletts, lifeguards, excellent water temperature(early october), big waves keep coming, and theres enough of those artificial shade makers for everyone to find a free place under.

The summer morning life of Haifa pensioners is rather monotonous... After a 1.5-hour early (when not very hot) walk along the sea, sit in the shade, read, breathe the sea air and swim. Dado Beach helps us very well in these hours of our life. It is clean, spacious, well equipped, not very crowded. Rescuers work here reliably and carefully, many restaurants and cafes, showers and changing rooms. If you come here in the evening or on weekends, you can clearly see that non-pensioners also love the Beach: finding a place at the table is not easy, and you can meet friends on the boardwalk. Amazing pictures of the Haifa sunset also attracts.

The beach is a nice for a swimming especially with children. There are small or no waves, the same is nice and clean. It’s also shallow, you need to walk out a little to get some deeper water. No sweeps or rips. The only down side is the constant yelling over the load speakers by the life guards. No idea what or who they are yelling at, nobody pays any attention to them. This is the same along the entire beach with all the lifeguard towers. You definitely won’t fall asleep on the beach.
