Nowadays it is a long , nice walk to make connecting the south Dado beach to the neighborhood - it had it`s lows when it was associated with the promiscuity of obscure night life , the development allows for real enjoyment of the beautiful seaside shore of Haifa for at least 5-6 km

Best if you want to swim easily without big waves, due to the wave breaker. small ponds are a great place to look for small fish, crabs and other sea creatures.

even in days that in other beaches the sea is dangerous and the waves are high, in Meridian Beach there are almost no wavew and people can enter without fear. The sand is very soft and the beach is never too crowded. Ideal for parents with little children and those who want to enjoy the sea, not only the beach

The real action on the Haifa beach front is at Zamir andDado beaches a short walk or drive south, where you will find decent food and service at Camel, dance, Tai Chi, aerobics and Rumba classes free of charge

Betweeen Tel-Aviv and Haifa you can find "Mikhmoret" a little Moshav with it's own harbour ( school + seeturtle saving centre) , 2 beautiful sand beaches and a nature reserve along the sea ("Gador"), If you walk or ride a few minutes North there are no people on the beach, besides some surfers that try to catch the waves,
