Caeserea, Rosh Hanikra and Acre Day Trip from Tel Aviv

259 reviews
Explore Israel’s ancient coastal cities and cavernous Rosh Hanikra grottoes on a guided day trip from Tel Aviv. Traveling in an air-conditioned coach, you’ll pack more into one day than you could on your own. Visit the ancient relics of Caesarea, the Baha’i Gardens in Haifa, and the Old City Market in Acre, and be back in Tel Aviv for dinner. Hotel pickup and drop-off makes for a hassle-free day.

Went there for a company day out. The day was fun and educational, the outdoor escape room idea let us break into teams and compete, which added to the fun. Easy to get to from main train station, and there are some great restaurants and pubs nearby. Its also a short funicular ride to the 'upper city' with some great views of the city and the sea.

A rather unusual escape room concept, where all the action takes place in the immediate vicinity of the place. You are given a tablet with apx. a dozen riddles, all located in nearby locations, which you need to find using GPS and augmented reality. All in all, it takes apx. an hour and is fun - as long as you don't do it on a hot day.

I was hesitant to try it because it didn't state on the website if English speakers can participate if they don't know a word of Hebrew. But it turned out to be very English friendly. We were six in our group and we loved every second of the 90 minutes chase to save the world. We recommend it to anyone visiting Israel. I love how they tie at the end the places you visit with the history of Haifa. You don't need any knowledge to participate in this quest. It was great for my teenagers (13, 15, 16) and equally fun for the adults (24, 50, 55). I recommend that you share the ipad through the search. After every clue give it to another player. It ensures that everyone enjoys it equally.

Kind of a combination of pandemic and an escape room, came recommended by a local friend. Had a great time with our teenagers and grandparents. Keep your eyes open!

Did it with a few friends and had a blast! The riddles are fun, interesting and well made, as is the tablet app you use.
