Aqua sport is the most popular diving center in Eilat, and for a good reason. I took my diving course there over 30 years ago, and the place is still vibrant and professional as it was. The location is perfect - it is right on the beach. You can drive to several great sites without needing a car. There are instructed dives several times a day, as well as course all all level, intro dives, and some special adventure dives. Safety is above all, and they pay a lot of attention to nature preservation. The staff is friendly and professional, and they make you feel welcome even when the place is busy.…

We spent a week in the club. My daughters got their 2 star diving qualification and I joined the guided dives. We stayed at the hostel which is on site. This is a big, active, well established diving club. One of the first in the area. I was hesitant about doing the diving course there and diving there as I assumed it would be very busy in August. It was. But we had a great time. The diving courses are super professional, no more than 6 per group with extremely experienced and friendly instructors. The group had their own gathering area away from the daily diving crowd, and they had an intimate and fun experience. Instructors are very patient and accommodating. All the course diving is done right from the club shore - no driving or other hassles. Excellent equipment. I joined the daily guided dives. It was busy, mainly on the weekend, so expect some waiting and "balagan" (the Hebrew word for disorder...) but all dives were carried out as planned. The advantage of this busy and active club is that there are always several daily dives, and you can always find a partner if you are diving alone. I rented my own equipment for the week, but I didn't see any shortage of equipment. All equipment was excellent and well maintained. Nitrox available as well. The club has a hostel on site. It is a basic 4 or 6 bunk air-conditioned room with a large bathroom (2 sinks, toilet and shower). Highly recommended, as it is extremely convenient to have an AC room to cool off and rest between dives, and avoid having to use transport to get to your hotel. In addition, you have the advantage of the excellent location of the club - right on the beach, the room is 40 feet from the water... The general atmosphere of the club is dynamic, busy and full of energy. Divers going in and out of the water all day. Young staff, beach bar with basic food - all you need for a diving trip. Remember - this is Israel - so don't expect Swiss railway precision, but if you get with the rhythm you will have a great time! Highly recommended.…

The club is managed badly by a guy named yuval. Yuval was disrespectful to the customers and to his instructors as well. The instructors were great and tried the best to help us in whatever we needed. In the weekend there wasnt enough diving equipment which resulted in long waiting time between one diving session to another.…

All 6 of us (ages 10-80) signed up in advance for this one hour lesson. Each of us was accompanied by a diver who instructed and encouraged us. Recommend trying this experience and definitely recommend the Aqua Sport team.
