All 6 of us (ages 10-80) signed up in advance for this one hour lesson. Each of us was accompanied by a diver who instructed and encouraged us. Recommend trying this experience and definitely recommend the Aqua Sport team.

The club is managed badly by a guy named yuval. Yuval was disrespectful to the customers and to his instructors as well. The instructors were great and tried the best to help us in whatever we needed. In the weekend there wasnt enough diving equipment which resulted in long waiting time between one diving session to another.

Aqua sport is the most popular diving center in Eilat, and for a good reason. I took my diving course there over 30 years ago, and the place is still vibrant and professional as it was.

The location is perfect - it is right on the beach. You can drive to several great sites without needing a car. There are instructed dives several times a day, as well as course all all level, intro dives, and some special adventure dives.

Safety is above all, and they pay a lot of attention to nature preservation. The staff is friendly and professional, and they make you feel welcome even when the place is busy.

I won’t come back here, came out very disappointed, even for a crowded holiday season, I dive in much more organized and valuable clubs.

Very slow and messy front desk, deactivation dive took 2.5 hours, because the guide couldn’t handle some divers who probably didn’t dive for very long time.

I’m another day, an intro dive of 30 minutes conducted only 22 minutes.

First of all let me clarify, nothing personal against the guide dives, which were very nice.
Last Friday 21/May i scheduled a visit to the japanese garden at 12pm, i arrives on time, i had the opportunity to do another dive before which o didn't because I would be short of time, at the end instead of 12 we went on board at 12:50, almost 1 hour late! I had another stuffs to do, my wife was waiting for me to do another stuffs, bottom line, it was not respectful.
In addition, I don t know why the staff is instructed to write down the cc number of the client and put in the envelope as a guarantee, in my case, i paid everything in advance, had no equipment at all( except the tank) from the dive center and I was diving with their guides! I offer to leave my card (fiscally) i offered my id, my phone etc, but it seems that flexibility is a word that doesn't exist in their dictionary! In a place where there are tons of dive centers you can not treat a client like this! Will think twice before I go there again.

In the picture you can see at what time we began the activity (first dive)

My father and I have more than 40 years of diving experience between us. Yet this is the worst diving club we ever encountered. The equipment is poorly maintained and mostly broken. The staff is rude and the atmosphere is unpleasant. The worst thing is the timing, I was supposed to start a dive at 9 am and was told to arrive at 8:30 which I did. To my surprise I had to wait for 2 hours and the same thing happened with my 2nd dive. It was a horrible experience and I dont reccomend this place.

After reading many positive reviews on diving with Aquasport Eilat, and some fantastic previous Red Sea dives, we were keen to try them out. However we unfortunately came away disappointed, for quite a few reasons.

This is a large scale operation, always busy with divers and with a large 'service counter' set-up. Although there are a few friendly staff, on the whole the booking process feels very rushed.

On the morning of our dives, we were given kit over the counter then for the next hour received no further information on where to go next, who our divemaster/group was, and made to feel generally in the way for asking.

After a complicated process of loading our kit onto a trailer and boarding the boat, we were disappointed with the briefing: vague and rushed, barely even an introduction!

Final checks before the 1st dive revealed some problems with our kit: leaking valves and regs (we weren't given tanks before boarding boat so not able to check on land). Another diver in the group had been given odd-sized fins (also unfortunate that he didn't check on land).

Diving in this area (we did the Japanese Gardens) is undeniably beautiful, so the dive itself was lovely, however we were a group of 8 (mostly relatively new) divers, with one DM, and often the group was too squashed together. Two smaller groups or two DM's (as we were actually told there would be when booking) would have been far better. I was also still experiencing kit problems with my reg and, at one point, my depth gauge coming away in my hand in a cloud of bubbles.

Whilst my boyfriend and I dived, our friend had rented snorkelling gear and was snorkelling from the boat. The captain was very surprised that Aquasport hadn't included a wetsuit in the hire: after 15 minutes in the water he was freezing (he hadn't known how cold it would be). The valve on the first snorkel he hired was broken so unusable.

After the dive: no debrief, no conversation, and another confusing time trying to find out what they wanted us to do with our kit (this is a big centre so not obvious).

All in all this centre is an assembly line: trying to get as many people in and out as possible, certainly not interested in quality of experience.

We came away deflated and wishing that we had stuck with the great, friendly company we'd dived with previously which is Barracuda Dive, just down the road.

Not even close to North American Standards
Exelent idea to find another operation
The equipment below acceptable level to be even safe and the owner thinks that any thing better you should buy from him
He is in the business of taking your money
Service here only from the staff that are trying their best under difficult conditions

I did my classroom sessions in the USA, but have since moved to Israel. My instructor was in Israel on vacation, so together we worked out a trip to Eilat to finish my PADI open water dives. We found Aqua Sport on PADI's website and figured that because it was on Coral Beach, it was our best bet.
As we soon discovered, Aqua Sport is far from a 5 star dive shop. The director refused to rent us gear and told us that it was "Israeli bureaucracy" that made renting gear to foreign instructors with foreign students "ILLEGAL" and that our only recourse was to pay one of his instructors to "observe" on all of our dives. He went on about how his hands are tied and stressed that any dive shop that allowed us to rent gear was breaking the law and should not be trusted. We showed him this link http://www.padi.com/scuba/news-events/default.aspx?id=14134 which explains that there is no legal issue with foreign instructors and foreign students, but he would not budge.

Frustrated, we went next door to a different dive shop and explained our predicament. The manager there told us that he had never had a situation like ours, but would be glad to find out what he could do for us. He called the regional licensing office and requested permission to allow us to dive. He forwarded my instructor's licenses and insurance info and then when he received the "okay", happily rented us gear.

No thanks to Aqua Sport, we had a great experience and beautiful diving in Eilat.

Side note: My instructor has been diving for 20+ years. The admin at Aqua Sport was condescending and explained that "even if it was legal", he was "anxious" to rent gear to an instructor that he does not know personally. In contrast, the other dive shop extended professional courtesy and did not charge my instructor for any of his gear.

I have been utilising Aqua-Sport diving centres facilities for years and think is it the premier diva club in Eilat and also Taba Egypt. The equipment is top of the line and a fine Dive Shop is on site if you prefer to buy. The multilingual instructors are the cream of the crop and extremely knowable of the dive sites. The diving from the beach onto two wrecks is fantastic and the boat dives allow you to get to other beautiful dive sites not accessible from the beach. If your more inclined to snorkel there is an abundance of aquatic life for all to see. Once you finish there is a great beach to relax on and a full food and beverage service available at the 50 Bar (my favourite place) after time in the water.
