The beach is narrow and bit stony, but the view of the Red Sea is amazing. It is perfect for a swim. The bar at the beach is convenient and nice - and the staff speak English. I highly recommend Dekel Beach.

Way off the beaten path and hard to find. Once there, a magical oasis. Magical views of Jordan and you can even see Saudi Arabia. An awesome beach and a great hang. Great eats and drinks. Totally hip....

Was in Eilat on vacation with friends who wanted a sandy beach. REad here and elsewhere that there was sand at Dekel beach. There are small random patches of sand, but not near the water. I would hardly call this a "sandy beach".
I didn't go snorkeling but my friends did and said that it was great snorkeling, so there is that :p

It wqas once a very nice beach, not too much crowdy, moderately wild. Now it made terrible with the sndless wooden decks, almost no sand, lots of "bastot" and not much place to relax. Please give us back a former nice Deckel beach.

Spent a week in Eilat and found that Dekel Beach, it was perfect! Excelent food, good service and very nice beach. Showers are nice and the toilets are cleen.
Just remember to stay in the shadow in the middel of the day - it can get extremly hot in July/August :)

Really lovely beach, seems like everyone here is local, a bit tough to get into the waters because of the rocks (not sandy and soft) I would recommend to put on Jellies (plastic sandals with clasp) on the children in order to get in and out easily.

A really pleasant little beach away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist area. Great views of the Jordanian mountains and a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the sunset. There are a couple of bars which serve food in the vicinity. A fair walk from the tourist centre which helps maintain its relative calm.

Excellent beach not far from Eilat centre, clear water for snorkling and clean sands. Nice food and fresh juices, staff was nice! Free wi-fi!

Clean beach. Calm waters. Not crowded compared to other beaches in Eilat. Quiet, no loud music. Good if you have a car.
