Very nice marked path to walk, offers some challenging spots aswell but nothing you cant do with kids. Alot of animals and fossils can be found in this area. We went there whole family at late afternoon. Midday is too hot usually.

Possibly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Strongly recommend for people who like nature, especially deserts. It truly exemplifies the beauty of the desert (Ein Gedi doesn't count since it is an oasis), we even saw some ibex! I went in...More

The formation and the color of the rocks are amazing. Love the definition of the rocks! It is true the Red Canyon cannot be compared with the Grand Canyon in the US in terms of size. But the Red Canyon is equally significant and magnificent...More

Red Canyon is only a short drive from Eilat and an easy but interesting hike. First there is open desert, but as you continue the path winds down into some rock face and eventually you descend down into the narrow and smooth canyons. It is...More
