The excursion passes through the river bed of Solomon, climbs the Yoash mountain to surprise us with a view of the Eilat Bay and the four borders of Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia .. It's a very nice beach. Lots of shade and you can see dolphins. They also serve food (OK by beach bar standards). You can pay extra for swimming with dolphins, but I would recommend against doing that because dolphins may never come close to you (as happened in our case). Snorkelling / scuba diving is better (and probably cheaper) elsewhere along the coast. Beware that there may be very many people in the morning, so either come early, grab a place in the shade and persevere or come after lunch. Also, this place is super-expensive. But almost nobody pays the "full" price because there are various discounts: for Eilat residents, for employees of some large companies, etc. Just make sure the visit does not ruin your budget.

Family of 4, parents and two boys with special needs, we wanted to do a first scuba diving. We explained the dpecial situation there. The manager came and talked with the boys with great attitude, which was so surprising and exciting: he explained us the scuba diving process, the special signs , about the equipment, everything. Two days later we came, each of us got a private scuba diving guide which was holding our hand all the time. My two boys with special needs actually made it under the water for 25 minutes, saw many nice fish and few dolphines !!! Which came very close to us, few meters away. We are grategul to the great team, from the manager down to to the diving guides, and highly reccomend anyone to visit Dolphin Reef in Eilat.

It is what it is. You get provided with a wetsuit and diving or snorkelling gear, and hop in. It's something of a canned encounter rather than a feeling of interacting in the wild, but in this part of the Red Sea it's pretty much the only way you'll get to interact with larger creatures, especially in Eilat. It's very good at what it does, and they do a much better job at providing a decent environment for the dolphins than many places with a concrete puddle as a "home", so as long as you approach it with realistic expectations, it's fine. For kids, I'd say it's a solid top rate attraction - but adults will probably be left feeling a little "processed".

The best beach in Eilat. Watch the dolphins swim freely around. The perfect place to relax. You can even book to swim or dive with the dolphins

We spent a short afternoon at the Dolphin Reef beach. It was a tad busy with almost no room to sit, but the beach is really nice, and it is protected from harsh waves.
