Sealife in their natural habitat - breathtaking!
May 2021
I went back here with my girls after over 20 years of not visiting - we were not disappointed! One thing I have to comment on is the cleanliness - the grounds were neat and clean, but so was every window and tank. We even saw some workers cleaning algae off of turtles and a scuba diver upside in a tank scraping the glass. It was very impressive.

The underwater observatory is so well done and so beautiful, I could have stayed there all day! There are not seats to sit and watch, but there are ample windows to see from. The walk down is a curved staircase, and there is a small elevator. The reefs and the sealife are just astounding.

Also, on top of the observatory, is a beautiful deck to look out. It's a steep, spiraled climb and no elevator is available, but well worth the 90 steps.

There are also some other features that we did not have time to see - shark tank, stingray cove, aliens of the deep, rare fish, and some others. It was all beautiful.

The food options are not under certification so plan ahead if that is an important feature for you.

Doesn't worth the value for money
Mar 2021
It's located in the far south area of Eilat, far from the center and towards the border but this park offers your to watch "live" sharks and other amazing fish and corals from the natural underwater observatory.
The price though is a bit high comparing the value for money but it's a good attraction for the whole family.

it's great, but could be better

this marine park offers to its visitors a variety of activities, however not all of them are as amazing as the famous and unique underwater observatory. the park has 4 separate buildings with big aquariums, and about 10 outdoor locations with smaller aquariums or artificial puddles containing sea animals. my visit started in the "rare fish aquarium" (pic 1), which kind of disappointed me since the fish there are contained in very small aquariums, the ones you would rather expect to see in a pet shop and not in a marine park! then i visited stingray cave" (pic 2) and "shark pool" (pic6), which look impressive but still do not differ in any way from water tanks with fish held in them in other marine parks. the good thing is that there are a lot of information stands (pic 7) , providing facts about sea life in hebrew, english, russian and arabic languages. outdoors there can be found a turtle pool (pics 3, 4) which is definitely interesting, and a couple of small pools with coral fishes (like in a pic 5) that are only here to fill in the space. and finally the underwater observatory itself (pics 8, 9) - this is the best experience the place has to offer. for me this is the right way to watch the sea animals - they act natural and are not hurt in any way by humans' presence. there should be more places like this and less simple water tanks with fishes swimming in circles inside of them. in the park there's also a possibility to go upstairs and see the landscape around the observatory (pic 10). in overall i left the park with lovely memories and was really impressed, but also concerned about the marine park industry that feeds off oceans and doesn't give them that much in return.

Unique take on an aquarium
Sep 2019
It's the only place I know that works this way, and it's really a great idea, You go down into the tower and have some fantastic observations from the sea floor. It's in the shallows on the reef so it's bright and lively. It was great for my older relatives with us who couldn't dive or snorkel to see the environment for themselves. Well presented and informative. It's a shame the idea hasn't been more widely adopted as it's much better than creating a "fake ocean" in a tank for an aquarium exhibit.

Happily re-impressed.
Jun 2020
I have not been in over twenty years and was happily re-impressed. It seemed smaller this time coming as an adult but perhaps this visit there was more to see with a couple of newish exhibits with HD or interactive touch screens alongside the main 'old fashioned' underwater observatory. We climbed up the tower and then down underwater. Impressive.
