I have visited this place once before. It was in 1983. Back then it was ranked as second in the whole world and felt really spectacular. 37 years later it must be said that this marine park is somewhat aged and Eilat seems sadly to have given away it`s former position. Many similar establishments (like those in Singapore and Shanghai) for instance have much longer and more impressive tunnels. Also the waters, as seen from the underwater observatory, were according to my memory a lot clearer in 1983 and the amount of sea creatures of different kinds was greater and more colourful in those days. The view, I want to point out, may however change from day to day. That said, this marine park is still well worth a visit and the ticket price of 105 shekels. The best section is without question the shark pool, although it can be crowded at feeding times. Coming here is convenient (if the driver is not thinking he is Lewis Hamilton) with bus number 15 and leaving with number 16.The bus stop is opposite the entrance.

Enjoyed our 2 hour visit.
The walkthrough Aquarium was interesting as was the brief glass sided boat trip, though this cools have been enhanced had the guide taken questions. Similarly, the upper observatory could be improved if signage gave distances and directions to visible landmarks.

The docent staff were very knowledgeable. Yonah found us wandering about and made sure we got a first rate narration at each of the aquarium tanks and made sure we did not miss out on anything at all! She made the visit extra special for us. And best of all she has the same Hebrew name as me!

I have not been in over twenty years and was happily re-impressed. It seemed smaller this time coming as an adult but perhaps this visit there was more to see with a couple of newish exhibits with HD or interactive touch screens alongside the main 'old fashioned' underwater observatory. We climbed up the tower and then down underwater. Impressive.

If you go to Eilat and don’t have a lot of time we highly recommend the underwater Observatory Marine Park. They have a variety of activities besides the observation. It is a place specially for kids to explore and learn throughout many interesting ways about the Red Sea marine life.

Even though the park is not that big we spent over 4 hours there. The rare fish aquarium was fascinating and we spent quite a while exploring the differesnt aquariums. The shark pool is very cool and the exhibit on the sharks was interesting. The view from the roof of the observatory was beautiful, definitely worth walking up 90 stairs to. The staff is very friendly and the tours were interesting.

This is the absolute must see in Eilat, and it has something for everybody. The surface tanks are great, the underwater tower is spectacular and the glass-bottom boat is worth it as well. Also check out the 3d movie.

We were my husband and I, after many years I wasn't there, and my husband wasn't at all.
First, when we arrived we found out we could take a picture and come the next day, so we knew we could take the day in peace.
We managed to reach out to three tricks: the secrets of the pearls, creatures from the depths and feeding sharks in the shark pool.
Under the guidance of the pearly secrets, there's the possibility of hanging a pearl and finding out which pearl is hidden inside, and then you get both the pearl and the pearl. There was a girl who pulled the pearl out of the water, and she pulled out a pink pearl, she received it with a chain, it was really exciting.
We wanted to thank Liona for guiding us through the set of creatures from the depths. It was a fascinating guide! Liona, with contagious excitement and enthusiasm, made us excited and excited about everything that happened in the depths.
We also wanted to thank the exclusive diver who guided us in the shark pool, and told us about each shark and shark, and taught us how to distinguish between fish and sharks and marine mammals, between males and females, and between a fellow Amiga, the sea bats.
The rare fish exhibition is amazing, and of course the underwater view itself, with all the corals and fish, which seems to be as interested in the people inside the aquarium as much as the people are.
In short, an amazing experience, worthwhile!!!

Been visiting this place since I was a kid, this place keeps renovating, adding new attractions and the general maintenance is extremely good.
Basically the place is divided to several major attractions: the oldest one is the tower which it's lowest part accessible by stairs is submerged in Eilat's coral reef, wonderful sightings can be seen there, there is also a shark aquarium, a 3D cinema like attraction, submarine with glass floor and a several small sightings in the vicinity.
The entire bay can be seen from various places of the park which provides great atmosphe.
Parking can be an issue here, as sometimes it's really full and you have to find some other places to park which are not 100 safe and accessible.
Another thing is the density, if there are groups in the park some attractions can become overloaded which in this case it's best to start with something else and return later.

The first time I visited this observatory was when I was still a girl, back in the 90s. It would be difficult to explain the girl’s delight, who had never before encountered the sea and its inhabitants so closely, in words - “These fish seem to be painted with colored felt-tip pens,” I thought.
Since then, I visited the observatory again and realized that it had become even more fascinating...
Just look at the circular pavilion with coral reefs, an aquarium pool with sharks, an outdoor pool with turtles and fish, an underwater observatory tower, feeding fish in an outdoor pool, a “pearl shell opening” attraction, a diving pool, a pavilion-cinema (more details on Wikipedia) .
I think that visiting the beautiful city of Eilat (which was slightly spoiled by the city market stalls), with its luxurious and not so luxurious hotels, hostels, a lot of entertainment, a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, sea, themed entertainment, 3D cinemas, shopping, and more - not would be complete without the Underwater Observatory Park!
-So, after you plunge into the cold Red Sea, which is so refreshing after dry and very hot weather, go to this interesting park and spend time there with pleasure!
“I’m a little jealous of those who can dive under the water using diving, since I’ve never done it myself.
- And also, on the way to Eilat, you can get acquainted with the life of the local Bedouins and talk about it while sitting in their tent and drinking delicious black coffee, which they will definitely treat you to.. also, there is the opportunity to ride their camels.

You advise to book tickets in advance but during the booking process I wasn't asked for dates. So now I got information that my order is being processed (is it the same as confirmation of my tickets?). Do I have to contact you to book certain dates?
Written October 17, 2019
You must be mistaken. I have checked my review and I did not say anything about booking ahead.
