We visited the park on two successive days, taking advantage of the sizeable Senior discount and the fact that the ticket was valid for more than one day. A Ranger gives a short talk on arrival, supplies a map, and if you wish, helps you prepare a plan based on your interests.  We then saw an informative 12 minute film which in our case had English subtitles. You drive, cycle or walk within the park but will probably not be able in one visit to see everything without using your car. We hiked from the Arch in a 2 hour loop back to the small Arches via some old copper mines.  The Arches are of eroded sandstone ultimately reached by ladders and walkways like Via Ferrata.  They are easier than they might at first appear. We also did a 2.25 hour hike up Faces canyon to a copper mining area. The canyon gradually narrows to just shoulder width.  We returned down a very narrow canyon which had a number of rock steps between smooth sides.  Some had well over a metre drop and required care and ingenuity to descend safely. The hikes were well signposted throughout and were very enjoyable. The souvenir shop had many unusual items and was well worth visiting. Recommended for the scenery, the archaeology and the hiking.

You can buy the tickets online or at the entrance. At the moment, it is 39 shekel per adult. This park is huge and has a lot of amazing photogenic location!! Driving is highly recommended due to the size of the park. Everything is super beautiful apart from the artificial lake which is quite weird but I guess it is nice for the people who camp nearby. The two arches hike are not for people who have a fear of height but the easy hike from the mushroom to the spiral hill is perfect for everyone! The lantern tour is only available in July and August

Ronen, our guide and a skipper by profession did a great job by combining knowledge of archeology, geography, ancient history, bible story, and the mining process. Adding the landscape and the fair March temperature, all this .makes a great experience

בדרך לאילת , לנו במקום, חדרי אירוח בהחלט נוחים ומספקים. הגענו בשעות הערב, טיילנו ברחבת הפארק עם רדת הלילה ליד המייצגים המרכזיים היו אורות, היה פשוט קסום. בבוקר מוקדם המשכנו לטייל באיזור הקשתות וציורי המרכבות. לרוכבי האופניים יש מסלולים מיוחדים, ניתן לעשות טיולים רגליים , ניתן להגיע עם הרכב ואז לצאת ולראות. ליד האגם יש אוהל מועד, אל תפספסו, המדריך פשוט מדהים! בעל ידע נרחב, נתן הסברים מפורטים , הייתה חוויה גם לילד המתבגר. מומלץ להגיע בערב. מרכז המבקרים חדש, העובדים מסבירי פנים ונעימים , בהחלט משאיר טעם של עוד. On the way to Eilat we took a night in the park, guest rooms are definitely comfortable and satisfying. We arrived in the evening, strolled around the park plaza as night fell near the main representatives there were lights, it was just magical. Early in the morning we continued walking in the area of ​​the arches and chariot paintings. Cyclists have special routes, you can go hiking, you can come with the vehicle and then go out and see. Near the lake there is a tent, do not miss, the guide is just amazing! Extensive knowledge, gave detailed explanations, was an experience for the adolescent child as well. It is recommended to arrive in the evening. The new visitor center, the employees are welcoming and pleasant, definitely leaves a taste of more.

The park is open now and you don't have to make a reservation ahead. At the entrance there is a little museum and a film about the place and the copper mines. Short and nice, don't expect for too much. After the movie you ride with your own car in the park roads, stopping every point for a short walk. If you want, there are also some longer hiking. You can get all the explanations and the site map at the museum at the entrance. Every point of interest is a nature piece of art, the nature is stunning at this place. We spent there four and a half hours, without pedals boat at the lake, and without doing colour sand bottles. So family with little or young kids can spend a whole day in the park. Pay your attention that you have to have comfortable walking shoes, take enough drinking water and a sun protection remedy. Also take some food with you, because a cafe or food are only at the last stop in the park - the Timna lake. We are visiting the park for a third time - every time it is a great time and gorgeous and stunning views. Definitely must do near Eilat.

This huge park has something for everyone. They have a lake where you can rent paddling boats, they have biking trails, and as you drive along the road they have geological sculptures, arches and more to see. We were mostly impressed by King Solomon’s sandstone pillars.

We spent two nights in the park, we rented an air conditioned tent with comfortabl bed and refrigerater. It is an impressive park and well worth spending time to expirience being in the desert. At night the monuments are lit up and there are night tours. Just before the entrance to the park driving on a dirt road you can arrive at the "Dissapearing Lake which is an old coppermine that was flooded it is beautiful. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful I highly recomend a visit and if possible to stay overnight for the full expierence

Timna Valley is a natural wonder - fantastic rock formations and interesting archaeology of ancient copper mining. However, instead of being managed by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, its managed privately, which means that entrance is expensive. We arrived intending to rent paddle boats on the "lake" (an artificial pond!) - for which they charge extra - but when we got to the pond, discovered that the boats has stopped operating just before we arrived. They should have told us at the entrance to the park that the boats close early!

Went with kids one to seventeen. Rented bikes some did longer some easier trails. Younger ones filled bottles of colored sand. Stopped at different beautiful highlights like the mushroom and Solomon pillars. Free herbal tea while sitting by the lake was great. You can rent swan pedal boats at the lake. Weather was amazing!!!

Timna Valley is a wonderful geological and archaeological area. It features unique rock formations and archaeological remains, of copper mining and an Egyptian temple, goin back thousands of years. But instead of being managed by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, its a private business, so entrance fees are high. Also, we intended to rent paddle-boats on the "lake" (a small artificial pond) - for an additional fee - but got there just after the boat operators closed up. We were not told at the entrance that the boats closed early!
