Feb 2020
After a couple of great dives with Shulamit and her team in 2019, we have decided to come back in February 2020. This time, we did 12 boat dives to 10 different dive sites and also some night dives. We had a fantastic time, great fun, well organized and safe dives. The whole crew is very committed, friendly and professional. There was a good briefing before every dive and always room to address any questions or concerns. For example, I wasn’t too confident about my first night dive, but Nicole made sure I was relaxed and felt safe in the water and so I had a great new experience. As we brought our own gear, I can’t say much about the rental gear. All BCDs are weight integrated. Nitrox was for free. The group size ranged from 2 to 6 divers per guide, at most dives it was 4. We definitely recommend Shulamit’s dive center if you want to dive the Red Sea in Eilat.

We contacted Shulamit's Dive Center in December 2019, in order to finish our PADI open water diver certification. The first thing to raise and we're thankful for is the Shulamit's responsiveness; never did we wait for more than half day to get a response from them.

We arranged for the dates of the dives, and no advance payment was requested.

A few days before arriving to Eilat, Shulamit was kind enough to inform us of the weather conditions during the days of our dive, confirming that the dives could take place.

When we arrived in Eilat, we located the center easily using google maps. We were lucky to have found parking every time we went to the area, just make sure you get there early during the day.

The center itself was very well organized, clean and with the necessary private areas for changing, shower and equip.

Our dives took place in the Red Sea, just a few minutes drive from the center. The underwater life we saw was breathtaking; many times we stopped swimming just to admire the different fish and corals we had in front of us. Out of a Nat Geo documentary.

At this point, we need and want to give a huge shout out to NICOLE! She was our diving instructor for the 3.5 dives we did, and we could not have asked for a better instructor. She made us feel immediately comfortable, had a very good and calm approach when planning and explaining the dives, and was able to consolidate our knowledge of the under water exercises super well. Thank you Nicole!! :)

Highly recommended center!

The diving with Shulamit's club was amazing! I completed my Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Nitrox courses with them. I enjoyed every minute of it!

My instructor, Nicole, is energetic and always has a smile that makes learning all the skills easy and fun. She is very patient and informative. Some days I completed courses with other students and she always paid close attention to each diver, put safety first, and made us all feel awesome, comfortable, and confident!

Learning how to dive was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had and after every dive I felt like I achieved the impossible. I am becoming comfortable in an environment I never thought I could. It feels like such an accomplishment!

After these 2 weeks I feel confident as a diver and I cannot wait to keep diving, learning and return again to Shulamit's. It was the best experience! Thank you!

Everyone who comes to Eilat and wants to learn how to dive or just to dive for fun should come to Shulamit's! Nicole, Shulamit and Julian are excellent instructors and guides and the equipment is in excellent condition! They offer shore and boat dives.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have every had with customer service in my life, let alone at a dive center. I booked ahead of time to do three days of guided dives with Shulamit's. I arranged everything with them, and I asked if they could pick me up from my hostel. Shulamit agreed and said it was no problem, but she did not give me a time for pickup until the morning of, 30 minutes before. That was a minor thing though, and I was ready on time and was waiting by the front of the hostel. When the car came and I walked outside, I said hi and Shulamit just barked something at me. I couldn't understand what she was saying so I asked her to repeat herself. She screamed at me and drove off!!

I realized as I was walking to the bus that maybe she had said to me "mask on". My mask was not up over my face completely because I was sitting outside by myself waiting for them, and i then forgot about it. I am absolutely a law abiding citizen. On buses, in stores, etc. I wear my mask properly, the entire time (unlike many other Israelis). If she had just politely reminded me to put on my mask when I got in the car, there would not have been any issue! But she did not even speak to me like a human. She barked "mask on". I don't know, maybe I have crazy expectations, but I don't think that's how you talk to a person, let alone one of your customers. It created a completely unnecessary and avoidable conflict.

Anyway, I took the bus to the dive center, hoping to get the misunderstanding worked out because I hadn't even understood what had happened. When I got there, another staff member spoke to me and tried to get it sorted out. She was very nice and helpful. But Shulamit came outside and without prompting started yelling at me again! At no point was I arguing about putting my mask on, I literally had not even understood what she said to me. But she continued to yell at me. I tried to calmly explain that I hadn't understood what she said and that I had no problem wearing my mask (as I was at the time), but she just kept screaming at me. Never in my life have I felt so degraded and disrespected, treated like I was not even a human being. I finally lost my patience and told her I would be taking my business elsewhere. I was absolutely in shock that the owner of a business would act so rude and immature. Reading the bad reviews on here though, ad the responses of Shulamit to those reviews, it is not surprising that she attempts to discredit every one of them, rather than try to make them right and make her customers happy.

An absolutely horrible experience, and it ruined my entire diving trip.

We joined a boat going out with divers, even though we were only snorkeling. Shulamit was tremendously helpful and even at her own initiative reduced the price because one of the two sites we visited wasn’t ideal for snorkeling, even though we still enjoyed it. Very attentive of the Covid-19 regulations, even on the boat.
We had a lovely morning

We just needed a mouthpiece for a regulator and found Shulamit's dive shop.

My son has life threatening peanut and tree nut allergies and we wanted to go diving but weren't comfortable using rental equipment.

Shulamit was coming off a dive and we happened to find her at just the right time. She knew just what we needed and sold us a mouthpiece so that we could enjoy our adventure even though we didn't book with her.

Next time in Eilat we will go out with her trip because she was so helpful.

This diving trip was scheduled six months in advance and we were excited. Shulamit met us and had everything arranged as discussed. The dive boat went out with only 4 divers on board and we were treated exceptionally well. The dives were fantastic with great visibility and abundant corals and fish to see. We will use Shulamit’s Dive center the next time we return to Eliat.

I have dived many times with Shulamit in the past and have done a number of courses with her. I have been so impressed with her care and professionalism that I opted for her school to train my kids for the open water certification.

Nothing is too much trouble for Shulamit and her team. Thank you to Shulmait and Julian for your patience and care training my kids. It has been a pleasure as ever!

I also wanted to thank Nicole for the efficiency with which he handled all the paperwork.

I highly recommend Shulamit for diving in Eilat!

Oustanding service and care!

Thank you

Extremely professional diving center. We really appreciated the attention to detail and all the dives were well organised and planned. Greta, Nicole and Shulamit are highly experienced instructors and you always feel in good hands.

We made in total 8 dives, covering the most interesting diving sites in Eilat,
We will be back for sure next season.

A great diving center in Eilat, Shulamit is a professional instructor that can take you to some very beautiful and special diving sites. For those who may have exhausted the well-known night sites in Eilat, Shulamit's dives are usually by boat, which allows access to more diverse and lesser-known sites, and experience unique dives. Shulamit gives personal and attentive service. You will not find in Eilat another diving center similar in care and quality! highly recommended.
