Ah what nature can do

An amazing place to visit. Especially with a guide because they have so much information to get you to see just how awesome this place really is.

A quite, beautiful, almost mystical place at the margins of the Arava valley. My special tip for nature lovers
May 2018
Depending on the anual floods the road to the Amram Pillars is a dirt road but private cars can drive on it (carefully and slowly- escaping big holes...)/ This area is one of my favorites as it is most of the time sparely visited by mass toursim. Once there you can deciede how far you walk' there are at least 3 round tours - different length. Mount Amir up - there you will see traces of ancient cupper production - down to Amrams Pillar/ Or only a short walk from the car to the columns ' a meditation in this beautifull nature - and back to the car....Don"t forget to take a map' water' hat and a date :-)

A place not to miss when you are in Eilat
Jul 2018 • Family
Amram Columns is located less than 10 km north to Eilat. The entrance is from road 90 south. DO NOT use navigation apps like Waze or Googl map as they will bring you nowhere!!! Follow the road sign on road 90 south and drive on an unpaved road suitable for all cars. Drive all the way on this unpaved road and from the place you park the car it takes 5 min walk.
The view is breathtaking and worth every effort

Be careful with the GPS/Google maps location
Jul 2018 • Couples
We visited this place coming from Eilat (South)
As we entered the name in our Google Maps app, it took us north aprox 20 min. Then it took us to a place called Hidden Valley which IS NOT where the Ammerm Colums are! Just be aware!
Follow north from Eilat, then make a U turn and head South. On your right you need to find a sign saying AMMERM COLUMNS, keep on the dirt road for a while til the fork, there you’ll find a map(see pic) , take the right road til the parking lot. From there, it’s a short and easy path til the columns. The view is spectacular
Unfortunately we were really tired after a long hike in the hidden valley looking for the columns...🙄🙄

Short walk to amazing place
Dec 2017 • Family
If you come from direction of Eilat you need to continue north (as there is no possibility of turning left), make a U turn few kilometers down the road and on your return turn right. On the fork take left. It is some 5-6 kilometers driving on unpaved road (but you can do it with normal car) and then from the parking lot some 10 minutes by black trail. The sight is amazing (and don't you miss other great sights on your way)

The right name is Amram colums
Dec 2017 • Family
After driving 20 minutes out of the main Arava road on a non asphalted path, you are invited to walk in the desert. Various trails.
The Amram colums are an intriguing structure in the cliff. Worth a visit, both for the sightseeing, and for the experience of walking in the desert. Don't forget to take a hat and water!
