We booked 2 trips with Yuval of Eilat Jeep Tours who met us at our hotel and were thrilled with both! The first trip to Petra was very well executed from beginning to end. We were picked up by Louis who took us to the border where we were met by our guide Ali who handled all the visa matters and got us to Jordan fairly quickly, considering all the tour groups that were at the border that day. Our fee included all expenses related to the day long trip; pick up from and to the hotel, visa fee, private air conditioned bus ride & guide, admission to Petra and lunch. Only caveat, bring cash and don't use credit cards. Shekels and US dollars are acceptable. If your gut says you are paying too much for souvenirs you probably are. At the site in Petra you will find plenty of deals. So don't rush to buy anything.
Our second trip was a combo of a visit to Masada with a stop to the Dead Sea on the way back. Our driver Michael was on time, provided bottles of water for us to stay hydrated and very knowledgeable about Israeli culture and history. We had wonderful conversations about many interesting topics - the ride from and back to Eilat went too fast, fueled by great conversation and the amazing scenery. Michael was both accommodating and professional. Masada was well worth the trip (the entry fee is not included - but easy to get your ticket once you get there and fairly cheap - about $22 USD). The view is spectacular and there is a lot to discover. I suggest that you schedule the bulk of your time for exploring in Masada and allow 90 minutes for the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea has no entry fee and is really a lot of fun for about an hour or so. There are showers and changing rooms on the beach. Bring your own towels and do rent the lounge chairs to have a spot to keep your stuff as the sand is on the muddy side. Do Not Get Any of the Sea Water in Your Eyes and have a bottle of fresh water to rinse your eyes if you do. EJT is a knowledgeable, professional and trust worthy company to plan all your excursions in and near Eilat.

I'll start by saying that Yuval's customer service is top notch. He demonstrated flexibility and polite and professional CS before we even stepped into their jeep. The driver, Erez, is an Eilat Lifer, so really knows the surroundings. He gave us a great off-road tour through and around Eilat that took us through scenic mountains and view points. We even got to see some wild gazelles. Our kids (ages 6 - 16) all had a GREAT time. you haven't experienced Eilat without touring with Yuval and Erez.

Excellent jeep trip at the earliest evening hour’s until the sunset. The guide , Roni was brilliant and tall us a lot about the history of Eilat and about the nature of the desert , he was very very nice if you can ask for Roni to be your guide.

He talk unrespectly at our neighbours egyptian soldier that are protect the borders with them his name was hanan he is terrible

Sorry you gut disappointed , it is first time we get such a respond , i checked with hanan and we not sure that you tour with us , hoever I'm sure that if you did you over rreactin

We had an amazing Jeep tour with Yuval.
He drives a beautiful, well kept Jeep, which is relatively silent and allowed us to hear him over the engine.
That was important because he had a lot to say. He is very knowledgeable about Israeli History, Geology and everything to do with Eilat and he likes to guide.
He's easy going, funny, fun and relaxed and wasn't in a rush to finish.
I highly recommend taking a Jeep tour with him. It was the highlight of a terrific vacation in Eilat.

Excellent 2 hours with Yuval and Chonon in the desert today, we were a group of 12 aged 6-70 all had a great time. Great views, stories and even some marshmallows and tea in the desert
