If you are in Selçuk, visiting Ephesus, or on your way to Kuşadası, a stop to check out this museum is well worth it. The outdoor exhibits with life-size mannequins display scenes from life in an Anatolian scene. The even more interesting and well-done section of the museum is the series of models depicting life in the village ... from festivities at the bride's and groom's homes, to a circumcision party, to harvest activities, and more. The only disappointment for me was that photography was not allowed in this section of the museum. Since there are some photos of these models posted by other reviewers on TripAdvisor, I am not sure if this is a new rule, or if others snuck photos while the attendant wasn't looking. In any event, worth putting aside an hour to check out this small museum.

Wow, what an experience, found this gem on the internet a few years back and went there 2 years ago only to find it's not open on Mondays. Well my wife and I went this year and what an experience. From the minute you go in the gates is a fantastic experience, we were greeted by the daughter of the creators and were given a tour of the museum, Life size figures were so realistic especially the mechanical movements. Then the miniature section was just as good.Very educational experience for us and came out very happy to have been there.Entry fee only 10 Lira and well worth it, also deserved the tip as well. Thank you all for the great time ye gave us.
