This is a wonderful shop, and the shop owner, Ali, is gracious, personable, and highly accommodating. In the morning of our visit, he rescued my son and me out of a downpour when our tour guide never appeared. He then got on the phone and found an alternate guide so we could go on to Ephesus that day. Later in the day, after seeing Ephesus, I spent time at his shop. I bought quite simply the most comfortable, highest quality pair of boots I have ever owned from Ali, very reasonably priced. He spent time with me to adjust them to fit me exactly. I have recently decided to purchase a second pair through the mail in a different color. I have never been a very boots-wearing person, but these are just so comfy, it's like running around town in your slippers. Be sure to allow enough time in your visit to get to know Ali.

Ali the shop owner is very talented in making great leather shoes. The gallery has silk scarves also handmade. Lots of other gifts you can find to take home as gifts. Prices are good. Ali is very helpfull and friendly.

Ali Bey at La Tulip is an honourable man. The shoes that he hand crafts are beautiful and of fine quality. His store is filled with many beautiful hand crafted treasures. Well worth a visit if you are looking for that special gift or a lovely memento of your time in Selçuk. Ali is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

La Tulip is a shop in Selcuk (near Ephesus in Izmir Province, Turkey). Ali, the owner and shoemaker speaks English well. I’m very happy with the boots and shoes I purchased there. My first time visiting in Oct. 2019 I purchased 2 pairs. This time, June 2022, I purchased two pairs of boots and a pair of slip-on shoes. Ali’s simple designs are versatile and stylish. You can tell he is very proud of his work. I’m proud to wear them.

Oh wow! What variety and selection! The workmanship is amazing, the customer service is even better and the prices are reasonable. Perfect place to buy souvenirs, one of a kind memorabilia of the trip. Beautiful leather and fabric handmade items like shoes and handbags. Love it!

Traditional Turkish products. An amazing shop with fantastic quality products at great prices. Friendly owner who is very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought some shoes and boots which were handmade by the owner. Leather is high quality.

The staff was the highlight of my first few moments strolling the streets of the beautiful shops! Their kindness and warmth drew me in immediately! I’m blessed by having these new friends and the products I purchased are of such. Equity and quality! Thank you! ♥️

So glad I stopped by. The shop has a very nice selection and fair prices. It is well worth the time to see what they have and to chose a nice piece to take home with you. I picked something that I could carry back, but I am sure shipping can be arranged

We thoroughly enjoy spending time in this shop when we visit Selcuk. Ali made us feel right at home, sharing tea with our family and knowledgeable information about the area and the quality products he sells. He's a talented craftsman. This place is a gem in the heart of the town and in our hearts, as well.

I found a true treasure in this store a pair of shoes no one else will have. Hand made and just my size, They are amazing. I feel like Cinderella. The staff were very helpful and have so many hidden gems you could spend all day wandering through the shop finding lots of treasures.
