Visited - somewhat by accident - in April 2014, late in the day. No matter where you stand on matters religious, Christian tradition is the basis of Western culture, so its difficult not to be impressed by this place. My wife was invited by the...More

My wife and I recently visited Ephesus and wanted to make the journey to this special place, regardless if the history is correct, it feels special here. We loved listening to all the song birds in the trees.

A beautiful peaceful place to visit. Quick small place, but worth the few minutes from ephesus. Knowing Mary had a beautiful place to spend her last days was a great thing
