The bridge between east and west, Istanbul is a vibrant city with magnificent architecture and a rich history as the former capital of the Ottoman empire. Cover top sites like the Blue Mosque and the Spice Market on this action-packed guided trip, which offers 1-, 2-, or 3-day itineraries to best suit your schedule. Because it’s a private tour, you have plenty of time for questions along the way.

I visit Gama Gallery almost every month with a new exhibition of contemporary art in order to stay in tune with the art scene of Istanbul. Gama Gallery hosts extraordinary artists from all over the world, including local ones with unique and affordable works and performances, As an example, the last two exhibits I visited were Yigit Dundar's "Awakening" and Melike Ucku's "Paradox", both were young and upcoming artists of Turkey. I suggest to stop by the Gallery when in the famous and lively Beyoglu neighborhood for a casual visit, or on your way to Galatasaray Hamam, which is just across the Gallery.

We found here while walking down the street on our way to the turkish bath, stopped by for a visit. A really nice cosy gallery if you're interested in modern / contemporary art.

If you're in the Taksim/Galatasaray district and want to visit a gallery or two, stop by Gama, where there's always a well-curated exhibit. Get on their mailing list, so you don't miss the next art opening. It's also near the antiques quarter of Cukurcuma, so you can do some shopping, too.
