Worth having a closer look at this on the way to Sultanahmet mosque. Very detailed inside the dome. Relatively new compared to surrounding monuments.

Pretty good looking fountain with gold on the interior of the dome. At the surface level this is worth a visit because it's between the blue mosque and hagia sofa - so why not. Its a prime spot for some good photos with depth play....More

I like this Fountain, it's a good symbol of the ottoman and German relationship. I like to take photos of this Fountain especially when birds sit on it

A European gazebo styled fountain constructed in Germany and transported bit by bit to Turkey to commemorate the visit of German Emperor Wilhelm II's visit to Istanbul. As part of the Hippodrome it is popular with visitors.
