I do not think Boga Meydani is an inteersting site for tourists. It is so crowded and noisy. It is famous with it's bronze taurus that is why it is called the Taurus square.

Bronze Taurus located square more then 35 years well known as six way square " Altiyol meydani". That is the juntion point of six streets goes to different direction to reach different locations. It is located at the center of Kadikoy walking streets for shoping...More

It is the area to do budget shopping in Istanbul. You will find many shops selling products at very low prices, but their quality is also not that good.

Kadikoy, the asian side of Istanbul is much less touristy. During the friday market you can buy pretty much anything (food, fabrics, household items, clothes). Also there is not much haggling going on, which I find quit relaxing, also means that hardly anybody speak english....More

This is another spot of Istanbul like Eminonu or Karakoy or Besiktas. All these places have piers and ferries carry people from and to this Asian part of Istanbul. This place is less hectic than the Europen side but still it has lots of energy....More

Kadikoy seems to be not a touristy place, but an in spot for the locals. Tons of shops, restaurants, cafes. We stayed at an airbnb apartment for almost a week and were walking the streets every day, all day. So much to see, so much...More

This is a good area for shopping and browsing around, because it is not as busy as the European side of Istanbul and it does not seem as frantic, or noisy plus the locals are less 'enthusiastic', shall we say!

Fun area for people watching, lots of places to grab a drink, snack or full meal. And the shopping is wonderful, everything you might want, from fresh fish to jewelry and everything in between, and on every budget. A must-see part of the city.

You can shopping in Bahariye & Kadikoy with all kind of budget and You can find so many local taste options.. especially Meat Ball Grilled & Doner or Fresh Fish market is the best options..
