In the tours we explain you the stories of the places and the importance of the tombs. Also most of the tombs are closed on Mondays and therefore we prefer not to make the tours on Mondays. Also note that some of the sites maybe under renovation by the government from time to time. * About Eyup El Ensari : He is the companion and standard bearer of the prophet Mohammed. The tomb is located in the Eyup district in Istanbul beyond the old city walls of Constantinople on the south part of the Golden Horn.* Eyup Sultan Mosque : It was built by the grave of the armor-bearer prophet Muhammad who died during Constantinople attack. * Sultanahmet Mosque : It was built in the beginning of the 17th century to the order of Ahmed the First. It’s designed in blue colored tile. This tour is much more than words can express. It is difficult to find the tombs and holy sites as they are usually not on the tourist menu. It is also difficult to find religious tours in Istanbul and especially one with a knowledgeable and commited guide. This tour is provided by a Sufi Master. Thus you get all the... More

This tour is absolutely amazing! This is a must for everyone visiting Istanbul even if non Muslim. The shrines are in places where you will never find... More

We had the privilege to avail half day Islamic religious tour ( Sahabe Tombs)in Istanbul during our recent visit to Turkey. Having brother Haqan and Dervish as our guide was a wonderful experience. Both of them were knowledgeable, steeped in humility and nobility, well versed in history and literature, specially Haqan’s love and reverence for Hazrat Muhammed(SAW) and Sahabe karam,... More

We had the privilege of this being our second visit to the blessed Sahabe of Istanbul. The blessings received are priceless. I would totally recommend anyone visiting this beautiful city not to leave without doing ziyaret of the blessed Sahabe. The tour was great, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul and eager to learn more about Islsmic History. The guide, Hakan was a wonderful person, extrememly friendly and helpful. Dervish Erol is so knowledgeable, such a humble personality. We did a half day tour, really regretted not booking for a full day.

My mother & I visited the Le Arts Turcs office after reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor. This organisation runs Islamic tours as well as other types. Being muslims ourselves, it is a duty to visit the tombs of sahabes when visiting that city. Once booking our holiday to Istanbul, we found this tour and knew it was not... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
