I love museums, and i love classic cars.
Yet i never knew about this place until i heard about being an event there with two drifters and their cars being there.

Two birds one stone.

The place is kinda hard to get to at first, you have to get to the end of the M2 metro and take a bus there, then a good 3 min walk.
Its in a place where you wouldn't expect a Museum would be in.

Frankly its Small, but nice.
Ticket was around 20-25TL as i recall.
But once you step in, WHOA what do you see.
Im staying from posting all the pics i have, purely so you can enjoy the collection yourself.
Cars from the 20's up to the 70's but not newer.

The capture the vibe and theme of that 50's era sooo well, its basically almost a time capsule, they have not only cars, but fuel pumps, and other items from old back in the days.
There is some Bikes too, and loads of small figures and toy cars.

What was creative and i love about it, since its a small museum, like Really small, there is a upper place for you to look up on these cars from, so you would see them from another angle.

The collection is Beautiful, ranging from European to American, no japanese cars in this museum.

There was also a small gift shop in the middle as well.

And i would very recommend for you to go there if you had the time to, its very unexpected, not over the top, Just Right.

Of and don't forget to sign on the book before you go out!

Entry is now 20 TL, still a good value, place has cool decor and is fairly small and can be done quickly, but those truly interested can read all the details about each car and spend more time there. I found it interesting that all the cars had Turkish license/number plates, I think it would have been more interesting had they kept (when feasible) the plates of the places they imported these vehicles from. I combined this with a visit to the Atatürk Kent Ormanı park, which is easy to get to by metro and then about a 15 min walk here, through a quiet part of Istanbul.

This museum was a really pleasant find. First, it seems really far outside of town when you view the map. But there was one bus that took us all the way there without transfers super easy. I don’t remember the number but Google Maps public transport directions will tell you. I was surprised that a tourism-focused museum would have a credit card reader that could only process bank cards issued by Turkish banks. However, the gentleman at the front counter was super helpful resolving this. He took us outside where he introduced us to the mailman who just happened to be making rounds and the mail man walked us to an ATM right around the corner. Also, admission was inexpensive. We just had no lira on us at all. The collection was impressive. The 50’s music was a nice touch. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. He offered us a a free tea or coffee which we enjoyed at the 50’s style dinner counter while enjoying the cars around us. I highly recommend.

The entrance price is like....pennies. All my life I wanted to see something like this. If you have an opportunity too see classic cars anywhere in the world I highly recommend. Chevrolets, Cadillacs, Mustang, sports cars and many more.

Perfect for small kids, but also generally for families, the place is really clean and the cars are in excellent state. If you visit prepare to spend at least two hours there because it has a lot of interesting exposition.
Don't miss the seaside restaurant

If you like old American and European cars, you must see that collection. I like atmosphere 50-s and 60-s, because I played mafia 2, LA noire and watched a lot of movies about American gangsters like Godfather series, Irishman and etc. First of all classic car in period 50-60-s it's just masterpiece for cars history. That collection includes a lot of cars different ages, and generally like I said you must see that collection. But that museum has one minus it's distance, I lived in Sultan Ahmed I come a long way by train, metro and taxi (

We visited the classic car museum in October with our 3 boys 8 and under. It was an amazing retro themed gem plonked in the middle of a residential area, and what a delight it was. It was just the right size to keep the boys entertained all the way though and I myself found the collection of toy cars almost more fascinating than the cars themselves. Living in the old city, we took the tram to kabatas and then bus 29D to the museum. It took an hour in all and was a lovely way to experience the 'day to day' of istanbul
Staff were friendly, especially the young lady that sold us the tickets. Definitely worth a visitif youre after a quiet but interesting afternoon.

If you are interested in old cars you must visit this museum. The cars exhibited here can only be seen in Cuba or in an private museum in USA.
