Nice modern mosque at the edge of the largest cemetery of Istanbul. Some might find the inner decoration over the top, I was positively surprised by this different approach of a female architect. In good steps of the Sultan's architect Sinan.

Our favorite mosque in Istanbul! Definitely modern: impressive lightening, wonderful dome made of blue glass, beautiful paintings inside. Can be hard to find but absolutely worth it. Just go!

Home to more than half a million residents, Uskudar on
the Asian side of the Bosphorus is one of Istanbul’s

Mediterranean and the Middle East, this gateway to
Asia has been an active and diverse hub for eons.
