We had a walk around the bridge, there is a very nice walking area next to the Bosphorus where you can rent a bicycle and enjoy the view!

Spanning the two continents of Europe and Asia, this is a nice bridge to admire. On the Asian side, do not miss the palaces. A Big Bus is the best way to see this and many other sites.

Looks lovely at night when the bridge is lit up. Interesting construction of the bridge and architecture to view from a distance.

We saw this bridge whilst taking a short cruise up the river. Nothing outstanding about the design but quite a large expanse.

As far as I know, the Bridge is not open for walking during normal times. It is open once a year during the Istanbul Marathon during every fall. That time they close it to the public and open for running & walking.

Try the public tram system.I'll try to find out which station you need to alight. Also depends where you're travelling from but the trams are really good.
