Small museum that is easy to get to from the Blue Mosque and the museum card is accepted. Beautiful and intricate mosaics on display and it does not take long for you to complete the museum.

It does not take too long to walk through this place, but it is worth it. The mosaics are quite beautiful to look at. You are allowed to take photos as well, but not in the souvenir stands. Seems odd.

It is certain that there are several famous places to visit in Sultanahmet square, such as Topkapi palace, Ayasofya and Sultanahmet Mosque, but believe me this little hidden museum behind the Sultanahmet Mosque is worth seeing with wonderful mosaics dating to the early Byzantine age

Located in Sultanahmet, near the Blue Mosque, inside a small bazaar. Follow signs and can be easily reached. The museum is very interesting and offers a rich collection of mosaics. The entrance fee is 25 TL. Entry is free with Museum Pass.
