I visited the Masjid in the Evening on my 2nd last day of stay in Istanbul and found it very impressive.

From the outside itself it is a very beautiful mosque that attracts you. When you go inside the blue hued art work takes you to another world. It is a unique combination of art & architecture.

A bit of a walk, but definitely worth it if you have the time. An exquisite mosque in the Fatih district.

I will not talk about the amazing exterior construction or the interior design and decorations which you will enjoy when visiting any mosque in Turkey. I want to only mention here the most beautiful view on the Bosphorus from Suleymaniye backyard. Take a cup of...More

The Suleimanye mosque gives the impression of intimacy and personal connection to faith. It's beauty is subtle and draws you in, calming you from the hustle and bustle outside its doors. It isn't as flashy as the others but it would be my choice as...More

One of the most beautiful mosques I have seen! Many day-tours do not include this mosque in their tours, because it is difficult of access, so you will have to do it by yourself or hire a day-guide for it!

This mosque build in the 15th century is a must visit. If you are a muslim, when you pray here you could feel the serenity and calmness. it's full of baraqah.

I recommend to visit this place especially if you are into photography. Amazing pictures you can take in the graveyard side and from the gardens.

A huge complex of many buildings including the tombs of sultans and famous architect, Sinan, who designed the complex. No charge for admission. Setting is glorious - panoramic view.

This masterpiece of a mosque is on a par with the blue mosque and therefore must not be overlooked. Be sure to visit the whole complex.
