Museum has different taste as most of displayed items have large sizes. It was really amazing to see how much ottoman's empire spend on improving & decorating ships. Museum located in Besiktas.. Entrance is very reasonable.

An impressive museum containing a galley made of 1595 tees. The reigning boats are very interesting. A very impressive place next to the tomb of Barbarossa.

The museum would probably be more accurately titled, the museum of sultan's ceremonial boats. These are impressive and there are quite a few of them, but I actually found the collection of cannon outside the museum to be more interesting.
