Loved the visit, the palace is superb and is all in wood even if looks like stone, huge rooms with baccarat chandeliers. and the room where Ataturk died.

One of the newer constructions by Istanbul's standards,but no less impressive.The last of the Sultans palaces complete with harem and like all Istanbul's attractions, beautifully presented.

The gardens alone are worth a visit but the palace is wow. You can take photos inside but that does not take away from your visit and in fact you nearly enjoy it more because you are really looking. Totally beautiful

Dolmabahce is one of the must see places in Istanbul. Full ticket cost was 40 Lira. Personnel walk around in the palace is not allowed. There are Turkish and English speaking tour guides provided by Palace (included into ticket price) Spend few hours over there....More

I enjoyed the surroundings and the architecture of the palace a lot, there are some interesting historical facts as well so it's worth waiting in line. Also, the interior is indeed very luxurious and rich. No photos or videos allowed inside!
