Sultanahmet is perfect place for family and couples. They got many choices of restaurants and cafes. They have also got the bazaar where you can shop and drink traditional tea.

I stayed for a week in Sultanahmet in June 2017. It's just too touristy for me. I know that everyone recommends staying here if you're visiting istanbul, but I'd rather stay some other place and visit Sultanahmet only to visit the tourist attractions. Not only...More

Sultanahmet is center of Istanbul where you can visit maximum Historical places of Istanbul, like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Covered Market and many Museum. Best attraction for tourists.





nice boat ride to see 2 different cultures and houses, masque view and busy area with shopping and fun. boat ride is main highlight for closer look of the city

Historic area all monuments are closer. Great hotels and wonderful restaurants and fast food joints with local street food are nearby

Very busy district. Some things are cheaper at the spice market. Haggle! Some lovely parks but nothing for young kids.
