This is the oldest and most beautifully quaint area of Istanbul. You will want to walk everywhere as around every corner is some ancient church or mosque and little cobblestoned streets with cafes and shops all over.

Sultanahmet is perfect place for family and couples. They got many choices of restaurants and cafes. They have also got the bazaar where you can shop and drink traditional tea.

Very busy district. Some things are cheaper at the spice market. Haggle! Some lovely parks but nothing for young kids.

put on comfy shoes, take the public transportation and enjoy. the tram is inexpensive and fast. all the must see's are close by. food can be eaten on the go. try corn and walnuts as well as simit. dont miss this area.

There are some drivers, but all depends on personal knowledge, try to check with someone who visited before and they will help in this regards
