Come for the tiles, stay for the chandeliers. This hidden treasure is well worth a visit (there is a bit of construction starting now, though). The blues are stunning. The old tiles are beautiful.

A smaller, older mosque across the Galata Bridge which is not as popular as the other more grander mosques but inside it is famous for its tiles. You will see the mosque listed in guide books and is worth seeking out.

Beautifully designed and built. The exterior is exquisite and the interior very comfortable and pleasant. Such peace and harmony.
