This review is part of 40Days/8Countries Trip. Across scandinevia, netherlands and turkey. Holder of ticket N12984. Price 15 euro/pax. We were picked up by an agent infront of the blue mosque. Price was discounted. The guide who walked everyone else waiting showed on time ..we went down to the harbor (5-10 min walk) and borded a boat with open roof. Guide... More

We travelled Turkey through Ahsly Travel and it was truly a unique experience. The location and quality of the boutique hotels we stayed out was fabulous and the professional yet really warm and friendly combination of the tour guides is what completed the experience. I recommend Ahsly travel to everyone :)

For 25€ for 2 persons and kids free and for a two Jr boat cruise, not a bad deal. Tour did what they advertised. 2 hour tour in my opinion is sufficient for bosphorous strait. No complain really. Just look for salespersons selling you putsidebblue mosque. Do bargain with them. You can take food on board too.

We wanted to do this kind of tour anyway and were charmed with the man selling tickets by Ayasofya. He was a lot less pushy than the others, who came off as a bit rude. Our tour guide was Halit who was great. He seemed a bit apologetic about his English but he needn't be since we understood him well.... More

At first we were spectacle because of how cheap it was to other agencies and the lack of reviews and detail. Luckily, however we were pleasantly surprised. She organized a trip with all transport, breakfasts, lunches and accomodation included down the coast including all the places we wanted. There were no hidden costs along the way and we asked for... I took the boat tour up the bosphorus and golden horn today. The tour cost 15 Euro, which is the same as what other companies charge for similar trips. The boat was comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed the commentary from the guide, Nehmet (?), which was very informative. The tour lasted about 2 and a half hours. The starting point... More

We went to book the bus to Capadoccia and were rail roaded into being booked on a tour. From the beginning we realized we had overpaid for everything. We could not get a cost breakdown out of them/ Trying to change the ridiculous booking of busing from Fethiya to Selcuk and then to Pamuklel was a nightmare. Eventually got Alaturka... More

I went to this travel agency in good faith and the owner promised me that I would be well looked after and the accomodations would be good, etc. The first night when I arrived in Capadoccia was the beginning of disappointments in the hotels booked from then on with my tour - I was promised and paid for 4 star... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
