This area is a must visit. Easy to get to on local transport. Quite a bit of walking but many different aspects to indulge in.

Besiktas is a very vibrant district in Istanbul. The most well-known part of Besiktas is Ortaköy which is a very busy place with numerous bars, restaurants, pubs and discotheques. An ideal place for nightlife!

Besiktas has a fiull range of the greatest of Turkish food, from meat to fish to vegetarian. It is one of the least expensive places to eat on the European side.

It is a large area of Istanbul and sure you will visit it because there are many nice activities to do there. Also, its location by the Bosphor made it full of restaurants and cafes.

This sea transportation junction is perhaps the best place to observe the lively Istanbul city life. There are also variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and entertainment areas by the sea around the Besiktas Square. Strolling stall after stall around the colourful street market, having a...More

In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for
space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green
