Beautiful and spacious garden with all the trees and flowers with natural scenery.
Excellent for family vacation attraction for elderly, adults and kids to have fun and enjoy a beautiful day in nature.
The area if packed with surprises like little ponds and estuaries with some marine creatures.
You can find cafes and plenty of seats and restrooms to rest and enjoy.
It has different landscapes with flat and hilly side .
I think the best month to visit is October because you can enjoy the cool and sunny weather.

You must visit Emirgan Park during mid April till the first week of May to see Tulip Festival.
The park is very large and colorful tulips. You can go there by taxi because there's no direct train to there.

This was a great place. We spent the whole morning there about 3 hours (you can stay longe) i bet this place is gorgeous in the spring. We visited in the winter and had a blast.

There are a ton of play areas for the kids.

Paths are stroller friendly.

Lots of benches for picnics.

Clean bathrooms.

Nice cafes to have breakfast/ lunch/ hot chocolate

Gorgeous park to visit in April during the Tulip Festival. The park is far from the city center, but it is really worth a visit! Thousands and thousands of colorful tulips, gorgeous views. I started my visit on top of the hill and made my way down to the sea. So magnificent to be in. Paradise garden and then wonder by the sea

Emirgan is the place where you can find and see lots of Tulips. It is absolutely stunning to see all the beautiful flowers how they decorate the whole park. Emirgan Park is perfectly setup nicely and friendly environment for anybody on any ages. The park is huge with several playgrounds and other attractions such as the cafes. You also can get a view of Bosphorous from the top. Simply amazing and fantastic park.

I have been to Emirgan Park during Tulip Festival many times. But this year's tulips are just the most wonderful of them all. A nice Bosphorus cruise combined with an unforgettable visit to Emirgan Park, will leave lasting memories for everyone. No one should miss this opportunity in April.

We enjoyed a stroll through the park on a Sunday morning in April. The tulips where beautiful and park itself is a very nice space with lots of greenery and a sea view. Arrive early in the morning (before 9 am) to enjoy the park before the crowds and to avoid traffic. The park is big and needs about two hours to walk through. Be prepared to walk through some hilly paths.
The tulips usually start blossoming in early April and keep charming till the end of the month, so if you are in istanbul around that time make sure to go!

Tip:To avoid a steep uphill walk, enter the park from the upper gate and exit the park from the lower gate by the bosphorus. If you do not want to take a taxi, there is a bus that arrives to the upper gate from besiktas (40B, İstinye Bayırı stop), and there is a bus that goes from the lower gate to kabatas (25 E). There is also a sehir hatllari boat that goes on weekdays from emirgan port near the lower gate to eminonu during specific times (check the RUMELİ KAVAĞI - EMİNÖNÜ boat line for exact times).

Unfortunately, there are very few gardens left in Istanbul yet Emirgan is the most beautiful among them with its stunning views.

472.000 square meters gardens date back to 17th century and is home to 120 different tree types.

Emirgan is always very crowded: all year long there are lots of visitors during weekend and in spring when there is the tulip festival, it's busy even during weekdays. Newly weds come here frequently to have wedding pictures.

Thus, in case you ask for some silence and tranquility, it's best to come early in the morning, the gates of the gardens open at 6:30 am. There is a very good jogging trail inside, though a bit hilly. There are lots of parking lots if you come with your own car but in busy hours, it's also hard to find a spot. There is also public transportation to the park, just 4-5 minutes walking is required though in case you come with public transportation.

There are also various playgrounds for children, picnic tables, ancient fountains, gazebos, clean public toilets in the gardens.

If you are looking for a green escape in Istanbul, these gardens are the place to go.
