Nice for views of the European side. Less busier but lacks the atmosphere. I prefer the European side. You will walk here if you take the ferry across. We came over for half a day to explore a bit of the Asian side.

Taking the ferry at the Eminonu Pier, I arrived in Kadikoy. There is a big square where there are benches to sit down and watch the views of the European side of Istanbul. Of course, there are street vendors selling their stuffs here. Also noted is a small park with beautiful, blooming roses and a public toilet.

There are coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy, hardware store, shoe stores, clothing stores, neighborhood houses, mosques noted as I proceeded with my walk around here.

It is a nice location that you can enjoy the view of sea and travel by sea as well. Walking by the coast is one of the advantages of this city. We love to see the sea.

The trip was relaxing and also very cheap compared to the joy I had. Only 2.6 TL which was paid with İstanbul card.
On the ship, you can have tea or any kinds of snacks, thanks to the cafeteria onboard.
The trip took almost 20 minutes.

Kadıköy iskelesi is the ferry port for passengers that travel everyday between European and Asian side of Istanbul. It was built in 1926, only 3 years after the establishment of republic, so has great memories from the past. From there you can take ferries to Eminönü and Beşiktaş, to attraction centers of European side. Also while you were waiting for the ferry it is always good to eat some cnacks from the kiosks located around or take photos of Bosphorus. The ferry rides are quite often so you do not need to wait so much.

If you live in the center, of Istanbul, then you can go here by boat, the area has nice streets and it is cheaper than in the center itself. many wonderful restaurants that serve fantastic food, it is highly recommended to go here :)

A famous hub for many ships to reach many places in istanbul. The area also provides some great views of Istanbul. Near by you can go shopping or chill in the many restaurants and cafes in the area.
