I believe this is the only shopping centre, as Westerns would know one, in Tashkent. It is on 5 floors with one for food and another for entertainment (games machines and a children's play area) with the other floors being taken up by numerous shops. I must admit that I did not recognise many shop names, but my wife did a few. There is a large supermarket on the ground floor. It took us an hour to walk here from the centre so I suggest getting a taxi.

We as a group of tourists visited Samarqand Dervoza Shopping Mall in June 2018. It is a large mall consisting of 5 floors. Grocery and other household items on first floor and food court stuff on fifth.
It is probably the best shopping mall Tashkent has, though I didn’t get a chance to visit other shopping malls for meaningful comparison. The mall timings are from 08:00 AM to 11 PM.
The mall is full of brands, most of them unknown to me. The prices are on a higher side. The quality of the products is not good as compare to the price they are tagged for.
Movie Theater is also available and it looked reasonable. Food court is huge with variety of restaurants and different foods.
If you have time, I recommend you should pay a visit and plan to have a lunch or dinner. As a tourist you may also buy chocolates or other stuff for your mates from the first floor. However, what I feel, the variety of chocolates is not enough. Only few recognized brands to select from.
All in all, a decent place to spend some time.

Visited this mall couple of weeks ago during my visit to Tashkent.
Main reason for visit was to check shops in this mall, prices etc.
Standard Mall, nothing special. Prices high as expected. Food court is ok.

The place is the only mall in Tashkent selling real branded clothes and shoes. It is quite a legend among the local people especially those living outside Tashkent. In the weekends you will see a lot of local tourists coming to sightsee :). The place has a good playground area and a food court. Probably one of the most worth mentioning places here are a puppet theatre and a branch of local cafe of an excellent quality Chaykoff. The children also love the little train offering a paid ride of the second floor.

All our group was dropped at this mall before we had to reach the airport for our return journey. We had sufficient time to spend as our flight was late at night. And there can not be a better place than a mall, especially this one.
We friends at the outset went to the washroom to get ourselves freshen up so that we could roam freely. The washroom was certainly most clean.
As I had bundles of soms with me , the local currency and I had to somehow finish the soms before reaching the taskent airport. I went to the ready made garments shop, however, i found them to be a bit expensive .
Later I went to the pastry counter and bought the plum cake and later some varieties of cookies . My only intention was to finish the currency. However, the balance currency was spent on the coffees. We enjoyed the coffee , especially sitting in a coffee shop.it was the best resting place for us.
When I reached my home at Mumbai India and had the plum cake with my tea and you may not believe me but it was just amazingly outstanding. I just thought I should have bought some more. In fact it was the best plum cake I have ever had.
Same goes with the cookies. They were just wonderful and equally most mouth watering. I repented for not buying them in large quantities. I would advise everyone to buy these in large quantities. As this was my last shopping I least expected it to most memorable and equally endearing.
I would only say we ended the tour on a most happy note.

I was told that it is biggest mall in Tashkent, hence visited here. You can find retail outlets of western brands. It appeared to me expensive, but I guess stuffs are costly in Malls. It has been newly constructed. You can find a lot of stuff over here. Great place for hangout. You can also buy stuffs and souvenirs from here too.

Hi. I was the last month and saw couple of shoe shops selling high heel shoes. Failed to buy them and now regret. Wanna get them through mail but forgot the names of the shops. Anyone can name me the shoe shops there and better still guide me through how to make this purchase ? Thanks. Kay
