Really worth to visit, very majestic and elegant. Clean and quiet. Just take care if you want to take pictures, because there are many stops where it is not allowed.

Equally as good as the metro stations in Moscow. Jaw dropping in scale and design. Cheap and efficient too. You buy a plastic disc at the office outside the station and give it to someone inside. No metro cards or tickets.

The metro is reminiscent of the Moscow metro albeit at a much smaller scale. Could skip if you've been to the Moscow metro but if you haven't then it is a must see.

Visited the station that celebrates Soviet space achievements. A slice of history. Very aware that I am touring a 'police state'.

Tashkent airport is pretty near of the city center so if you are not much tired you can go walking to get bus, marshtruska... We didn't know so we took the taxi and it costs us 5$ (3 people), don't pay more than 5$.
