Nothing really special about the food out there but the place is nice and a lot of stuff for kids. If you are more than one, you can always rent a bike and ride up and down. A nice way to spend an evening with an ice cream or a coffee.

This is a neat bar serving pizza, light meals and snacks. I was there midweek and was surprised to come across live music which was so discreet as to be easily mistaken for background music. There’s local draught beer, as well as several European beers. The service was excellent as were the prices. Seating was very comfortable and the atmosphere pleasant. English is spoken by the staff.

It’s a walking street with plenty of activity. Music, performers, kiosks, cafes, bars, restaurants name it and it’s all there.
Popular hang out for the youngsters.

This area is made of 2 streets perpendicular to each other, both pedestrianised: Sayligokh and Broadway. Saligokh is for kids and the young at heart, lined mostly with amusement stalls, but interestingly, with pin pong tables at the western end. The cross street (Broadway) is more for adults, with portrait painters, artists selling their wares, antique sellers on one arm of the cross street. The opposite arm of Broadway has ice-cream, drinks, hot dogs, coffee, etc. It’s a place you will gravitate to because it is centrally located and you need a coffee or ice-cream, but otherwise, it isn’t all that exciting in itself, though it was interesting to see the low-tech nature of the amusements -- darts against balloons, inflatable slides of kids, boxing machines -- things that used to be more common in Western countries 2 generations ago. These games may soon vanish too from this street and Tashkent and so we're catching a moment in time.

The nearest metro station is Mustaqillik Maydoni. This area is 200 - 300 metres to the southeast of the station.

Here's a tip: Near to where the painters sell their painting is a public toilet.

We wondered around every night on Broadway Street. There are so many different vendors selling local foods, as well as a bunch of games youd find only at state fairs. Well worth stopping by!

Broadway is like two places in one. Day time is full of artists and people selling various items. But night time its a display of lights and excitement.

This pedestrian thoroughfare doubles as a venue for art galleries, musical performers, and amateur entertainers wishing to demonstrate their skills before an audience. Plenty of places to eat and drink as you watch the world go by.

To be honest there are more interesting places, streets in Tashkent than this. Nothing special. Even after some time it was boring to walk there.
