This is a part of the various colonial buildings in the fort area. I was on the open city bus tour an passed by the building only. The pink building does capture your eye though.

Building is a well preserved example of colonial architecture in the fort. The store inside the building though is nothing special and is pretty much the same of every Cargills in SL.

During a break in our city tour of Colombo, we had gone to the Cargills Departmental Store. The store is very well-stocked with a variety of goods including foodstuff, household goods and also has a good offering of liquor.
