The temple on a small island in Beira Lake is an abode of tranquility. It was peaceful when we went in the twilight one evening; the chanting was mesmerising

A nice place to visit in Colombo. Very Near to Gangarama temple. You can spend some time here. Very calm place in the heart of the city.

Its a Calm place, a temple built on the lake in a middle of city, good place to spend couple of minutes and many postures of Lord buddha in the temple. Not a must visit place, if you are nearby just spend couple of minutes.
