We visited in the evening and although busy it was never frenetic and all the restaurants and shops looked inviting. We ate well at Hapo's Colombo Fort Cafe and enjoyed happy hour drinks in the cobbled courtyard area. The crowd was mainly young but there were also families with children.

This dimly lit outdoor eating place is one of the best places in the heart of Colombo to enjoy quality time. There are variety of places to eat ranging in prices. It was not overcrowded the day we went but it might be specially in the weekend. I was tranquilized by the serenity and the blend of old and modern... More

This place is really amazing at night, have visited many times and would visit over and over again, looking at the night sky with the two tall scrapers at night is beautiful, it gives a feel of a foreign city at night. All dinning options are really great and nothing to complain about it.Would recommend anyone to visit here.

There are many Dutch hospital shopping areas in Sri Lanka... this probably the most central in Colombo 7 (the good part of town) Has a good Burger King and a Dilmah Tea lounge which is great for Ceylon Tea. Some other luxury shops and restaurants complete the shopping centre which is good if you're visiting the memorial nearby... but not... More

This old building has been given a new lease of life, inside there are great restaurants and a couple of shops. It is not a hive of activity but worth the visit.

I love these hospital shopping precincts. They have one in all the main cities that I went to and I love them! The layout is nice and I feel like it's a good use of space. Definitely try out the Dilmah tea lounge! Good crepes and ice tea.

The old Dutch hospital is considered to be the oldest building in the Colombo fort area. Its now a heritage building and shopping and dinning precinct. Its a good chilling place with friends. There are many bars and restaurants amongst is the famous Ministry of crabs.

So many restaurants, all high quality, an ODEL outlet, spend an evening here. Nice open space in the centre to while away time with friends. Don't miss it if you are in Colombo. I ensure I come here each time I am in town.

This is a great place to run in and pick up last minute items when you don't want to brave the crazy traffic and crowds at the flagship Odel store in ward place in particular. It's easy to get to, well known and has a wide variety of easily purchased items. The precinct itself is also home to the famous... More
