So much to eat! It was lucky we hadn’t had any lunch before. From sambal, the vegetables, curry, rice and roti, you make it all from scratch and enjoy as a family afterwards. You can book for lunch or dinner, but my only advice is make it your main meal of the day as it's an incredible feast ! Myself and 2 friends had the privilege of attending this cooking class run by Piumi and Susa. We were greeted into their home as friends and treated to a 4 hour masterclass in Sri Lankan cooking. We were introduced to the vegetables, spices and cooking utensils and made 11 dishes that were ginormous and even got added dessert on top! We were so full by the end that our only tip is not to eat breakfast or dinner before coming! We are so thankful to Piumi and Susa for this amazing experience and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!!

Best cooking class in Sri Lanka.😍 we really enjoyed it. Piumi is super Friendly and let us known a lot about food and all ingredients.
We enjoyed cooking and learning about Sri Lanka’s food.
At least the best part is when you taste all the delicious dishes you cooked with Piumi. The food is super delicious.

Best experience ever, and the yummiest food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka!! We arrived at Piumi and Susa’s home and were welcomed right away. We started with tea, biscuits, dates and fruit. Then Piumi took us through all the traditional vegetables and spices and we got to select what we wanted to cook with. Cooking was so much fun and we learnt so much. The food was honestly the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka, and we’ve been here for a month now. And there is SO much food (12 courses in total). It was food heaven. It was such an authentic experience and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Piumi and Susa are so lovely and we had such an enjoyable time in their home. Thank you

An amazing authentic cooking class! I had a great time with my dad cooking 10 curries, roti and rice. The food was so yummy and really straightforward to prepare - essentially all one pot meals! What a fabulous authentic experience, hosted by a lovely, hospitable and warm couple in their home. They also collected us and dropped us back at our accommodation which was much appreciated. We cooked a large selection of self-chosen curries and a desert, learning about all the spices and being actively involved in the preparation and cooking. And of course, the best part was sitting down around the table to taste the fabulous finished products. It was the most wonderful experience and meal, and we enjoyed our time immensely. Thanks to a lovely couple for sharing their home and cuisine with us, we will remember it for ever.

My partner and I absolutely loved our cooking class experience with Piumi and her family. We felt so welcomed into their home and had a very authentic class. We were shown all the different spices and produce, how to prepare and cook 10 different dishes, and how to scrape coconuts! Thank you so much for your hospitality :)

Wonderful experience, I went with my husband and my two children aged 8 and 1, we were greeted in a sweet way by the whole
Family and we could cook every dish both me and my daughter, and she had a great time! We saw typical Sri Lankan tools as well as learning recipes and love of cooking.
We would definitely stay again in the future.

Piumi and Susa were very welcoming from the second we entered their home. We were offered refreshments of tea and water and then began cooking. It was hands-on and Piumi was very knowledgeable and Susa cleaned up after us which was great. The 10 dishes plus rice and pancakes were all amazing, and we were so full but wanted to keep eating. This was a great activity and also a good way to see inside a local home. Thank you Piumi and Susa

great experience with super nice people in a real sri lankan home, we cooked a lot of different dishes. Its was my boyfriends birthday and our hosts even got him a small cake. You will not regret booking this.
