Its not a work of art or anything worth a visit If you go on the parliament drive you cant miss it. Its at a always congested intersection. Overgrown with weeds most of the time. There is no parking nearby unless you park at McDonalds...More

This is next to the McDonald's here in the roundabout. This is statue of a local politician. You can see it on your way to the Parliament from the city.

N. M. Perera was one of the leaders of the Sri Lankan, this is the statue of him, who was a Socialist politician and was finance minister during 1960s cabinet. The statue is a good artistic work, which represents the remembrance of the leader.
