This isn't the most elegant place in the world but you will find everything that you need, from shoes to tasty French bakery.

The department store is so comfortable. You will find anything anything that you need. Souvenirs, cd.s books, traditional clothes etc...

The UB Department Store remains one of my favorite places to shop, particularly for groceries in the basement level. If you crave high quality meat (albeit at a high price) this is the place for you.
One of the oddities of shopping in UB is that you can get 20 or more brands of one thing (e.g. spaghetti) while other items are in great shortage. I often find "missing" items in the grocery store at the UB Department Store.

The location of Ulaanbaatar Department Store is very convenient. It is on the peace avenue close by the State Department Store. UB dep. store has some famous brand stores such as Sisley, United Colors of Benetton, Tommy Hilfiger, Carpisa, Basic House, Lancome, Channel, Clinic & etc. It also has several Mongolian cashmere stores, men's, women's $ children's clothing stores separated by different floors. Shoes are sold on the top floor. Basically, location is perfect, quality & variety of the products are good and it also has a coffee shop on the first floor.

Really enjoyed seeing the collection of arts and crafts on the top floor of this mall. Well worth a visit. I didn't find anything to buy, other than post cards, but I appreciated the variety of items.

Yes you can go there and find whatever you need, there is many shops with imported goods. In particular a good place to buy shoes for example. There is also a supermarket. The location is great definitely because in the peace avenue and not far from the state department store. Quite OK, one of the best shopping mall of the city.

Huge, modern department store. 6 floors with anything you need from groceries to souvenirs, electrical, books and camping gear. The 6th floor is for the tourists full of the usual souvenirs, a bit tacky but down the back you will discover some amazing and unusual antiques as well as old, authentic items.
