This is one great tour. I have done this tour two different times. Once for two days with one night at the somewhat remote site. A second time with my wife and a gullible friend of ours who joined us. The various individual camps you will see are just excellent. I highly recommend this one (or two) day tour.

The title says it all. The park consists of a reconstruction of six different aspects of Mongolian society in the thirteenth century e.g. a posthouse and a court as well as a shaman camp. A lot of care has gone into building it though it felt rather run on a shoestring. Pretty expensive at 55,000 TGK to go in plus 15,000 TGK for a very average lunch. It's about 100km outside UB and very spread out; a good driver is a must. The Kempinski arranged an excellent driver for us called Oogi - ask for him if you want to go, he was great.

We hired a four wheel drive, a driver and a translator. Went on road for around seven to eight days. The services of the agency was very very good. Very attentive, patience and caring. and flexible with our demands and preferences on food, places of interests, etc. The driver was nice and translator speaks very good english and a warm person. It was a great journey with the agency. We will surely recommend it to our friends in the future...
