Eruu Hot Spring is located in the Eruu River basin, in the Khentii Mountains of Selenge aimag, Northern Mongolia.

The healing charm of the disease: 42 degrees hot spring with carbonate, sulphate and sodium, and cure joints and nerves. The spa has three small wells. Big is the hottest. The wells are covered by stone, making it easy for people to enter.

History: When the Undur Gegeen Zanabazar was escaped from the Galdanboshigt king, he came to the valley surrounded by the mountain. Then he saw wounded deer lying near the river. And then he explored the hot spring, because animals came to this place to heal.

This is the truly Mongolian wilderness experience and it has breathtaking landscapes. These lakes are hidden and beautiful lakes in the deep forest of the Khan khentii mountain range. The lake is located around 180 km northeast from the capital city Ulaanbaatar and 2.7 Km², 2.5 km long, 1.1 km wide and 25 m deep. Khagiin Khar Lake, formed during the Quaternary glaciation, lies at 1,817.3 meters above sea level.

The three lakes are located in a unique sequence placed in the Khentii mountain range. There are named upper lake, middle lake, and lower lakes.

Road to the lake is covered with marshes, small rivers, mud and willows. The way to the lake is very difficult, so travelers mostly trek or use by helicopter to get there. Even most of Mongolians have not been in the lake due to its isolation. Our experienced team with off-road vehicles will lead to the lake by our special routes. It is comfortable and adventurous.
