I found about this travel agency out,qhwn searching for infos about a solo journey in the beautiful land of Kazakhstan.
I contacted Gabiden and he immediately replied me ,purposing a great 7 days itinerary,through the area of the biggest cities of this huge country.
I had the chance to visit the modern and antique city of Almaty,the former Kazakh capital,along with the Shymbulak skiing station and the Kok Tobe,top of the Hill where you could admire the whole city.
Been to beautiful nature of Kolsai and the amazing Canyon of Charyn,slept in the guesthouse and in a comfy Yurth,for the first time of my life. Since l was a solo traveller,Janaa and his wife Gulno,took care of me and provide to cook for me and keeping good company.
After four days l flew to Astana,the capital city of the country,where Damka,the guide who took care of me the three last days,picked me up.
We had a great sightseeing during the next day and l had the great pleasure to meet his beautiful family with his sweet kids,that made me feeling home.
Kazakhstan is an amazingly beautiful country but what makes my trip even better,were the caring of Janaa,Gulno,Damka and his family,then of course Gabi,who had the patience to organize and making all being perfect.
I highly recommend to contact them ,you surely won't regret it and will be very happy with their services.

Gabiden of Kerege Travel is eager to please. He knows the land at the beck of his hand, he can repair cars, he wakes up in the middle of the night to keep our heating stove running. He sets up a portable shower complete with hot water and heated stones for us when the lack of shower facility got to us. He goes the extra mile. He is reliable and flexible… changing our itinerary when the weather changes or when we are too tired and want a little more luxury! We travelled to Altai Bayan Oglii area with him and his team ( a personal chef and a driver who handled our 31 inch luggages😅 ). Would totally recommend him and his team. We had so much fun with him… and, we are such city people who are not used to camping and roughing it out! Would totally recommend Kerege Travel.

This is my second booking with Travel To Mongoolia/Kerege Travel. I am incredible impressed with the experience I was provided. March 2023 for 3 weeks in Mongolia. I attended the southern Gobi, Camel Festival, visited Karakhoum and the Darkhand Vally visiting with the reindeer herders. . Many incredible sites along the way. Many fabulous memories. Even ran into some Eagle Hunters that I met in 2018. On this trip the weather, snow, was a problem. TTM had contingency plans and pivoted to get me where I wanted to go. The second time TTM/Kerege provided an adventure of a lifetime.The entire itinerary was met. I read many previous reviews and I find the negatives unfounded. The most ridiculous was "Had to pay for one lunch”.Oh please, TTM is a very generous company. I highly recommend TTM/Kerrege. The owner told me he is planning on expanding his business into Kaszakstan. I look forward to booking with Kerrege again in Mongolia and Kazakhstan.

This review is limited to Travel To Nomads and its Director. We can not recommend Travel to Nomads. They did not fulfill the prepaid private tailored tour for 16 days. Changes to pre-agreed accommodations, modes of transportation (all without our input) with significant disruption to itinerary and enjoyment. Director agreed and committed in person to refund part of our fee, but once we left the country she reneged.

We signed up 8-day tour to central/ southern Mongolia. The price of the tour is negotiable which we have negotiated on a mutually agreed price. We were informed that accommodations and meals on the first day in Ulaanbaatar will be excluded, but everything else will be included as stipulated in the tour package stamped and signed by the company. We have agreed and taken note of that.
In the tour package contract, it is indicated “black & white” that accommodation is provided (refer to photo). However, 4 nights out of 6 nights were without proper flushing toilet and hot shower. We were not provided with hot shower even though on the tour day when our bodies were filled with sands after climbing sand dunes at Khongor Els.
In addition, there are many other items that is stipulated in the tour package were not given, such as 3 bottles of mineral water (1.5L) per day per person, wine (0.75L), 24 cans of beers (0.5L), Mongolian traditional meal “Khorkhog”, etc. (refer to photo) We even suspected that they used river water for cooking and we were mistakenly given the river water as drinking water. As a result, we both had stomach upset and mild diarrhoea during last 2 days of the trip. We get to know about the “river water” as our tour guide accidentally blurted out that the refillable big bottles were filled with river water and our refilled drinking water tasted salty.
In our tour package, it is clearly indicated that we will be dining at fine American, European and Asian cuisine restaurants. On some days, there will be lunchboxes from tourist camps (quoted word by word from the tour package provided by the company). During the trip, we were only given instant noodle in 2 occasions. There were 2 other instances where we were provided with clear soup and some breads to dip, just to fill the stomach.
We felt terribly treated (and cheated) during the trip and wrote to the company via email for clarifications. Dealing with them was extremely painful with their delay tactics over 1.5 months and they completely ignored us at some point. We feel it is only fair if they would extend some reimbursement due to all the shortcomings we experience. We were rejected blatantly as they claimed that discounts has already given during negotiation of price, despite all the inclusive items are stipulated “black & white” in our tour package. Even things are indicated “black & white” in their tour package, they can still deny them.
They even turned hostile and nasty in their email which we are appalled by their unprofessionalism. We have since written to Mongolian Tourism Department to seek justice for such notorious experience. We have learnt our lesson, and not signing up with any tour company with minimal reviews on TripAdvisor. We finally understand why the company has only 18 reviews (even it is good review) despite being around for 4-5 years since most unhappy customers will just ignore and move on.

My daughter and I spent six days with TM Travel. Thanks to Gabi, his wife, and father, we had a fantastic experience! Gabi took good care of us throughout the totally cool Golden Eagle Festival and thereafter on a trip to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Personalized and family run, TM Travel delivers a wonderful and authentic way at a reasonable price to experience western Mongolia.
During the festival, Gabi arranged for us to stay in a ger camp with two eagle hunters and their families, camped by a stream in an absolutely stunning valley 20 kilometers outside of town. At the festival itself, Gabi had set up a ger, where TM Travel served delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Over lunch on the second day, we were entertained by two throat singers and musicians. One evening Gabi took us to a mind blowing cultural music and dance show, headlined by the Kazakh National Orchestra.
Gabi arranged for a Toyota Land Cruiser with driver to take us, his father as our guide, and a lovely lady as our cook for a two-night/three-day trip into the Altai mountains and glacier. It was cold, so we overnighted in a hut belonging to a local Park official. The scenery was wild and glorious, and throughout it all we feasted on our cook’s magnificent dishes. She made the best kinkhali (Georgian dumplings of minced meat) we have ever had outside of Georgia.
The last night we were the only residents in TM Travel’s two-bedroom apartment in downtown Olgii. A pleasant way to relax and unwind before flying back to UB. And to cap it off, we were treated with a home delivery of steaming hot kinkhali!
We absolutely and highly recommend TM Travel!

As an ex-Operations and Training Manager for Intrepid Travel I can say Tamir and TM Travel are everything and more than what you will hope for in a driver/leader/company in Mongolia. He exceeded my expectations in all areas of knowledge/enthusiasm/safety/information. He also has the unteachable skill of being a great guy that everyone he comes in contact with appreciates. If you are needing a driver/guide you can feel safe with, trust in all aspects of your trip, and want to interact with the locals, then Tamir and TM Travel are just that. Look no further. I promise you, you will be more than satisfied.

Travel to Mongolia (TM) is a top shelf travel company for someone looking for true adventure, genuine experience and overall travel satisfaction. TM is a reliable family run business. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to make sure there was customer satisfaction. On my recent trip to Western Mongolia I found their travel package with the Eagle Hunters Festival as the center piece more than met my expectations. Some of the highlights were experiencing Mongolian Kazakh nomadic culture. Living with an eagle hunter and his family, training and hunting with his eagle. riding thru the Altai Mountains on horseback. Passing camel herds yaks and wild horses. TM provided the opportunity to go fishing,, visit ancient petrograph rock carvings and funerary monuments .visit the Altai Tavan Bogd National Park mountains and glacier, entertainment by a throat singer a cultural dance show, and help erecting a yurt. Check the TM website for this and other available travel adventures. Communication with TM was clear and accurate, before booking, after booking and during the trip. All accommodations were suitable and comfortable for travel in an outdoor rural region. All provided meals were freshly made local food tasty and plentiful. TM made every effort to introduce the client to the region and local customs with a knowledgeable fluent English speaking guide. My tour group size was four .. I met a lone German speaking client that TM was able to provide a German/English speaking tour guide for. Make no mistake. once you leave Ulaanbaatar and are in the care of TM you will be face to face with the beautiful magnificent rugged Mongolian frontier. TM will give you the adventure of a lifetime. I would highly recommend Gabi and his team at Travel to Mongolia.

Kerege Travel aims to please. For full disclosure this is my third booking with Kerege and writing TripAdvisor reviews for Kerege formerly Travel to Mongolia. My first trip organized with them in 2018 was a memory creator that that I stiil talk about today. I was not disappointed in my two most recent bookings experiencing the Camel Festival visiting with the Reindeer Herders and stopping at many historical sites. My most recent booking I wanted to ride horses with and hunt with the Nomadic Eagle
Hunters. I wanted to attend the Eagle Hunters Festival In Olgii. All was accomplished to include an added afternoon fishing trip. Who knew! All accommodations and meals were appropriate to location. Good hotels with excellent kitchens to gers with home style cooking not to be missed. I have to compliment Gabiden and Ermek for their ability to pivot when plans had to change. Specifically flights that were cancelled due to iced runways and they immediately rebooked to keep on schedule. In the meantime city tours and cultural events were offered. Mongolia travel depending what your interests are can be easy camping or challenging. I am an adventure traveler wanting memories to share and Kerege Travel has done this for me.

KEREGE TRAVEL travel agency, NOT RECOMMENDED UNDER ANY CONCEPT!!!!!!......inexperienced, carefree and only look at money, not the well-being of the tourist. First of all, and my only good comment, is about our Urgee guide, who also does not belong to the agency, was subcontracted for the first time for our trip, a super professional, friendly, helpful and experienced guide. She has a high knowledge of the country and speaks perfect Spanish. Thanks to her, our trip was "saved", because she did everything possible to fix situations and made the visits interesting, and because of her we were able to forget about the shortcomings of the rest of the trip a little. The rest of the trip, which refers to accommodation and meals, we are very dissatisfied with the services offered, so much so that, as we told Urgee halfway through the trip (duration 15 days), we just wanted to finish it and return to Spain, something that in none of the countries we have visited (and there are 150!!!) has never happened to us. We booked our trip directly with Gabiden. On the first day of our arrival Ermek, the manager of the agency informed us that there was a change of hotel, we had the 4-star Grand Hill Hotel and they changed us to the 3-star TTI Hotel, where they were staying for 2 nights. The accommodations have been "Guest House" type (very basic and with a lack of minimum essential services), when our reservation was Ger Camp (tourist camps). There we were able to verify that the accommodations to which they took us were the simplest and most basic in the surroundings. In one of them we didn't even have a shower, in two of them, the toilet was dry without water, a hole in the floor, just like a latrine. In three, we had to sleep on wooden beds without mattresses, on a hard board. In the vast majority of accommodations, everything is full of insects, dirty sheets and some accommodation even without sheets. The accommodations were very bad, basic, poor and "pitiful". They changed to a little better when we complained for the SECOND TIME and told Urgee that we didn't stay the night there, and she made the calls to the agency. As for the food, we have never eaten so badly on any trip, food repetitive, basic and often just one dish. For example, one night we ate soup and nothing else, no bread, no dessert, no other dishes, not even water, to drink only hot tea. A soup and tea!!!! Most of the sad breakfasts, no bread, no milk, no butter, no juice. Many days there was no coffee, just tea and something basic to eat. We were surprised that in "THE COUNTRY OF MILK AND BUTTER!!!" They didn't even give us powdered milk until 6 days later, and after asking for it. In almost all restaurants and accommodations, the driver first negotiated the food that was served to us, always being the most basic and different from the rest of the people staying there. Another point to add is the inexperience and lack of knowledge of the route of the driver Ernak (he does belong to the agency, he is the manager's brother), he got lost on several occasions, and also had to ask the locals on occasions, which made us waste a lot of time, as well as being rude, useless towards the tourist, and not at all helpful. We understand that he is young, but he lacks a lot of experience in dealing with tourists, and like in other countries, he should at least clean the inside of the car every day, and minimally throw away empty water bottles every day. He tried to give us refilled and opened bottles of mineral water, this ugly gesture can cause a stomach illness in the tourist and ruin a trip. The car, an old Jeep, that the driver had to check at least twice every day, put on flanges, inflate the tires, etc... he even went to the mechanic one day during lunchtime. Luckily, he lasted until the last day back to the capital, the last transfer to the airport took us in another car (it seemed private), he told us that the Jeep had broken down. We ended up disappointed by the trip that KEREGE TRAVEL organized for us, we felt cheated from the first moment. At no time did the information you sent us correspond to reality, and on your website, in information to the traveler, it does not correspond to what was offered in any way, such as that some accommodations had Wi-Fi, some saunas, and that they were accommodations tourism, which has never been true. This is just a small summary of our disastrous trip, so that you are aware of our bad experience and do not consider the possibility of traveling with the KEREGE TRAVEL agency. Furthermore, after returning from the tour, we have sent several emails to the agency to different emails, so that they can give explanations and at least apologize, including to Gabiden, and he has not responded to us.
