My experience dates back to a few years when we were living in Mongolia. I rode at Saara’s often but one particular day sticks in my mind. We rode out with our Mongolian guides. Through the rivers and eventually we found a place for lunch beside an amazing river. Our guides made tea and we stood and sat eating lunch. Our beautiful guides were singing Mongolian songs, smoking, sharing food and drinking tea. Then we rode home. More singing as our guides laughed picking up sticks from the ground at a canter they sang. The experience was priceless. A day never to be forgotten. An experience that tourists would pay a fortune for. It was inexpensive and pure pure gold. Etched in my heart forever. No fake tourism. Just truth, nature and the real Mongolia. Thank you.

I have been out riding with Horse trek Mongolia on many occasions. Doing overnight trips and day trips. They are a very experienced organization with great staff. If you want to experience the country side, ride on good horses and have a great time then I definitely recommend doing a riding trip with them.

I've been at great spots around the world but rarely leave reviews. In July 2018, I rode with Horse Trek Mongolia on the ride to the reindeer and cannot recommend this group highly enough. It was a magical trip that could have been quite difficult. The trek goes through steppes, mountain passes and through wet ground. In the event, this group made it seem easy. Both the journey and the destination were beautiful.

Visited with friends in April 2018. Beautiful location outside of the city with incredible views all around. Staff was very friendly and took care of our every need from making authentic Mongolian food to maintaining the heat in our Ger. The guides took us on track that took us across multiple valleys and mountains. As an inexperienced rider I was rather nervous, but the guides helped calm my nerves and by the end of it I felt like I could ride all the way to Europe (almost). Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Mongolian outdoor adventure!

I trekked with this company for the second time this year and have nothing but the highest praise. The trek was well organised from beginning to end with every aspect well covered. Mongolia is the most magical place to visit and on horseback is, in my opinion, by far the best way to see it. Horse Trek Mongolia provide excellent horses, guides and translators and I always felt in safe hands. Riding to the reindeer, in the very north of Mongolia was a once in a lifetime experience but a trek anywhere in the Mongolian countryside, with this company is highly recommended.

I have been on 2 wonderful adventures with Horse Trek Mongolia. What a fantastic team of knowledgeable, warm, caring and fun people, i felt in very safe hands. Trekking and living alongside these people, their lovely horses, the simple living in the wilderness and being so close to nature was a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. Having Julie Veloo to translate meant that we could share so much more with one another. Every day had it's own special moments. If you like to step outside the norm go for it, this is a special find and part of your payment will go to fund a project set up by the Veloo foundation which is transforming the lives of young Mongolians. What a special and memorable time!

In July my friends and I joined a group with Horse Trek Mongolia to see the Reindeer People. This is the second time I have trekked with Horse Trek Mongolia. I knew they were an excellent outfit, so I was sure everything would be done the right way, which it was. We had an incredible ride (despite a lot of rain) on wonderful, sturdy, dependable Mongolian horses. We traveled north, close to the Russian border, camping in our cozy tents and being fed and taken care of by our reliable Mongolian team. We also had Julie (Canadian) and Ryan (American) to translate, watch over us and entertain us! Descending into the valley of the reindeer people was magical! It was like going back in time, seeing teepees with smoke curling out, herds of reindeer like mythical creatures dotting the hillside, horses with kids riding bareback and dogs who looked like they were related to wolves! It was an experience I will never forget. Everything was well organized by Horse Trek Mongolia and I would highly recommend them for any of their treks.

I've ridden a lot in Mongolia and Horse Trek Mongolia are the absolute best! The horses are very well cared for, the equipment comfortable (they have safety stirrups which are almost impossible to find in Mongolia, plus good riding hats) and the staff are helpful and very reliable. They are able to organise a wide variety of treks to suit all levels - whether you'd like a half day and a picnic or a much longer trek into the wilderness.
