Simply put: I had one of the best days in Mongolia with my enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide Zolboo and her equally dedicated driver. A one day tour is nowhere near enough to get to know this vast and fascinating country, still it felt like a great introduction to the Mongolian way of life. Countless stories shared freely between my guide and the driver helped to immerse myself quickly in that wild and foreign culture. As for the program: We visited a huge statue together with the world's largest boot. We saw wandering nomads in some splendid scenery and went horse riding including a few small river crossings after heavy rainfalls the day before. I was treated to an excellent meal in a friendly Ger home. Then we rode on an authentic ox cart with the oxtail whipping in front of our faces for added rural grittiness. To top it off we saw many interesting places in the famous Terelj national park (turtle rock anyone?). Yet the itinerary never felt rushed and I was always allowed the time to get that extra shot, that otherwise is often missed in the big rush of more commercially oriented tourist groups. Finally, instead of driving me back to my hotel, Zolboo suggested to let me off at the Zaisan Memorial, which was another of countless highlights during my 5 day stay in this capital of many contrasts. So, thanks again to the whole team of Khan Travel, I wish you guys much success for your present and future endeavours. At the same time, I warmly recommend their services to all visitors interested in this extraordinary, potentially life changing travel destination.

My husband and I have just finished a 4 day tour with Khan Travel Mongolia. It was an incredible experience and the staff were friendly and professional throughout. We had Zolboo (Zoe) as our guide, a local mongolian who was passionate about sharing her country with us. Zoe organised a wonderful tour and our driver Bat did a great job getting us around - both spoke English well. Driver and guide were both extremely experienced and felt like friends which we were sad to leave by the end of the trip. We loved our tour and can't wait to come back on a longer tour to visit the Gobi desert!

I had a blast in UB with the lovely Zolboo and her staff. They were kind, loving and professional. They helped me ride a horse for the first time in my life and made me feel at home among them in their ger. Being on the road in Mongolia can be long but they made sure I was happy and we laught a lot, sharing stories and adventures. Smiles, kindness and great people always be what I will remember from my time with Khan.

Two friends and I were recently travelling in Mongolia and wanted to hire a car and driver for 2 weeks to explore the Centre/West of the country. Through Zoe from Khan Travel we got to choose the type of vehicle we wanted and recieved excellent advice on the best routes to take. Our driver Agi spoke fluent English and had amazing expertise on where we were travelling. Despite planning an itinerary he was always keen to suggest places/activities on the way and was really flexible with our itinerary. By the end of the trip we became good friends! Generally we found most tour companies in UB quite corporate and less willing to be flexible. Zoe and Agi understood what we were looking and gave us an unforgettable experience!
