we visited Mongolia on the last week of March when spring was beginning. Months before, Tulga customized our trip and complete itinerary for our four days trip. I have contacted many other tour agencies along with Nomadic Trails, but Tulga was the most genuine and accomodating, with details and personalization. Tulga helped us to fit all the activities and places on my wishlist as well as recommendations that I would have otherwise missed. He picked us up at the Ulaanbaatar airport, drove to Hustai National park and checked in at a Ger camp. Next morning we hiked a bit to observe wild Takhi horses and other wildlife, then drove to Elsen Tasarkhai Mongol Sand Dunes. We stayed with a Nomad family, in one of their Gers. There were many newborn animals around given the season. We helped out in the cooking to make fried dumpling like dishes, then wached the sunset from the sand dunes. Next day, we drive to Terelj National Park, to visit a monastry and Turtle Rock. For the last night, we stayed at a hotel in the national park. Here we got to horse back ride and experienced dog sledding (seasonal) at xtreme family adventures; our guide named Sunday-Monday during these activities were kind and helpful. On our last day we went to Chinggis Khan Statue and explored Ulaanbaatar city before being dropped off at the airport. During the entire trip, we felt safe and very well taken care of; we were able to make the most of our trip thanks to Tulga and Nomadic Trails. We learned a lot about the history and people. Tulga was thoughtful and kind, we had so much fun together. Highly recommended for any travel plans to Mongolia.

Tulga was the perfect travel companion & guide! He organised a custom 9 day tour for me. It included 2 days of horse archery training, a private ceremony with a shaman & a journey to the Gobi desert visiting many natural wonders along the way. Tulga is incredibly kind, calm, flexible and light hearted. He adapted his plans easily for the unpredictable spring weather & accommodated my needs at every turn. I could see how much he cared for the local communities we visited & how much he had worked hard to create excellent working relationships over his 20 years as a tour guide in Mongolia. I can highly recommend Tulga & Nomadic Trails for any kind of experience you seek in the incredible wilderness of Mongolia. Even after my tour, he has helped me to meet the right people, organised other translators & events that I needed to attend. After such an incredible trip, I consider Mongolia a second home & Tulga a good friend. Thank you so much!

What a trip of a lifetime! It's epic, adventurous and very eye opening. Tulga, our tour guide had planned a great itinerary that is varied, interesting and experiential! He is also a great photographer who had helped me take some nice photos. He took great care of all of us. Bata, our trusty driver, is such a cool chap who can find a lost charging cable in the middle of the vast Mongolia landscape! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend Nomadic Trails to all who seeks an adventure in the great expanse of Mongolia!

Trip: Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex (and quick stop at Black Market)
We jetted over to Mongolia from Korea on a four-day adventure and knew we would only have one day to visit the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex so I reached out to Nomadic Trails.
All I can say is that you can’t put a price on the friendliness and expertise that Tulga, our tour specialist, provided.
The entire day was so personalized and so special. He treated us like extended members of his family, ensuring that we had everything we needed.
We will never forget this adventure and we will be sure to reach out when we come back. We will come back. We will reach out.
I can’t speak for the rest of the company but if Tulga represents Nomadic Trails, I would trust them implicitly.

Thank you for everything-!!
He was very considerate.
He’s always been looking to see we’re okay.
He even ran to buy Kimchi on purpose for us.
Big travel plans were meticulous in advance.
And He informed us well in advance.
He knew how to change his schedule flexibly.
He’s a good driver and He took good pictures of us, too.
He also gave careful information about Mongolian tradition and history.
He was patient and sincere.
We promised to meet again and We miss his humor.
See you soon, Tulga!

We had an amazing Christmas reindeer trip to the taiga people and around Khovsgol lake.
Everything was so well organised. Tulga is extremely knowledgeable about everywhere he took us, and recommended hikes when we asked. Tulga also organised vegan food for us and it was amazing, even though we were in the countryside. Lots of tofu.

I was very pleased with my trip with Nomadic Trails. Our guide Tulga was knowledgeable and experienced. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we were served great food. The experience staying with the reindeer tribe was incredible and something not to miss in northern Mongolia. Overall the whole tour was well organized and I would have another tour in the future.

Three times I have been to Mongolia and three times I have travelled with the very professional team of Nomadic Trails. It was pure magic!
Tulga, the gentle CEO, is very proud of his country and he showed us very nice sceneries, he took us to families living in gers where we shared songs and snacks! Other times whe were welcomed by a family and asked to share their meal and even their ger where we could spend the night.
When crossing the country, we would always stop in the evening at the most wounderful places to spend the night. It's unbelievable how Tulga is able to find his way without Satnav!!!!
So we could admire the marvellous landscapes, enjoy the absolute stillness, dream into the amazing sky covered with millions of stars.
And in the morning we were welcomed by Pudge, a very good cook, whose meals are realy delicious and colorful. Nice table, nice chairs in an open air eating tent: *****.
The careful drivers who took us through the country are very friendly and helpful. There was always one of them helping for the setup of my tent. I'm not fluent in Mongolian(!), but no words are needed with this friendly people!
They always stay good tempered even when the roads are soaked and hard to cross. The complete team keeps joking and laughing.
Thanks to the people of Nomadic TRails and their perfect organization I have had a wounderful experience and I still have enjoyable memories....
I'll go back!

I hired Nomadic Trails to curate a private trip with four of us up to East Taiga and back down again last summer (July 2017). Our journey was remarkable, from start to finish. We developed such tight bonds with the staff who caravanned with us that all of us talk about going back over and over again. The food was extraordinary, which was something we definitely did not expect, given how far away from civilization we were meant to be for most of the trip, and I can still taste the wonton soup and smell the campfire from our night spent on a ridge overlooking the mountains a few hundred miles north of Murun.
I recommend this group to everyone I know going to Mongolia, and when I go back, I will be definitely reaching out to Tulga and his crew to handle everything.

10 of us enjoy taking nature, landscape photographs. The summer Mongolia trip with Nomadic Trails was full of fun. We felt safe under the care of Tulga and his two drivers. Tulga is knowledgeable in various fields and he is a skillful photographer too. His humour kept us entertained at all times.
Mongolians are pleasant people. The community is united and helpful. The Ger camps that we stayed are better than our expectation in terms of facilities and food. It was an enjoyable trip except that it rained in the last two days of our trip.
We would plan another trip with Nomadic Trails next year.
