Since Laos is in the centre of Vietnam,Cambodia,Thailand,Burma & China and is the heart of so called Indo-China so its quite obvious that different cultures would have their bearing on the Lao way of life.This is a relic from the vietnamese culture.

This is a Vietnamese Buddhist temple here. The architecture is different from others. You need about half an hour here.

Lovely temple which was a little different from the rest. Set back off the main road, the tuk tuk drivers know where to go. Enjoyed wandering around here.

Most of the Buddhist Temple in Vientiane are Theravada Buddhist Temple. Phat Tich Temple is one Chinese Buddhist Temple in Vientiane. It is a nice and well maintain temple. You can also see or pray to Kwan Se Yin Pou Sat (Avalokitesvara Bhodistava) here.

Phat Tich is a Vietnamese temple pagoda with 4-5 levels overlooking the city...short walk from Patuxai, ascend the steep steps for an impressive view, firat floor is for worship, many buddha statues and photo ops. No charge, donations welcome!
