A bit of a mixed bag. There's informative, if slightly succinct sprint through the important periods of Laotion history. Only a few of the exhibits have well written labes. The vastly majority are just labels. About a third of the museum seems to be devoted...More

A very Lao experience, take your time, abandon your prejudices, read lots and go several times to really have a feel for Lao history as known by some Lao. Read the novels about Dr Siri too, another version of 'recent' Lao history.

Very poorly presented. Not worth the entrance fee. A little informative but not much. There are better places to visit. Also they try and charge you to use your camera.

The museum is a very simple yet interesting exhibition hall. I had a chance to do a quick tour at their collection and brief overview of their past historical background. They still able to preserve some notable memorabilia and other items. Worth for a short...More

I like this museum which does not receive many visitors. Photos are particularly interesting. At $1.20 entry a bargain. Recommend you visit before it is moved to a new building and the lovely old building is distroyed
